FYI - I just called the number listed above and someone named "Sharon" picked up.I didn't want to give my real name so I asked for "Sharon"s last name so I could give the information to the DEA agent that I was in contact with.She said her last name was "Uren" (I think she was trying to be cute but then spelled it out as U-R-E-N).  I don't want to call from my cell or my home phone, but think I might s**** calling a few times a day from my work number just to ***** with these idiots.The last guy that called me really ticked me off and said that he was going to make sure that they gave my number to every telemarketer they could and that the calls would not stop.

I answered and a recording came on and said "This is the Tamar Group (?)and we have an urgent matter we need to talk to you about. Please call us back immedisately.

Called about selling prescription medications and have called me about 5 times in 2 days. Heavy Indian accents. The real number is 239-234-1609. I think this is a land line but have also seen it listed as a cell phone.I hope the phone company in Port Charlotte, Florida, which is where 239 area code is can shut this down.

They are out of country so the national Do Not Call registry does not work. I have complained, no avail. Try an air horn, I just hate to bust someones eardrum just for doing their job. Wish the CEO of the company would call.

I have been called by this number several times in the past 2 weeks(I am now keeping a list). I told the caller the person they were calling can be reached at a different number and I gave him the number of the Sherriffs Office - Fraud Division. I then received a call from (052) 262-735 (yes, 9 digits instead of 10) about 5 minutes later that I did not answer - I am sure it was them calling back.

I ordered meds from some internet pharmacy a few years ago. Big mistake. I now receive calls from 'foreigners' on a regular basis. The phone numbers c****e often. Now I don't even answer if the number isn't on my contacts list. It's nuts! They originally said they needed my phone number to call me back to confirm my credit card purchase! Yup, I fell for it!

Ya, they get me too.  I've also tried everything including screaming into the phone. I even told them the person they keep asking for died....that didn't stop 'em either. Since they all have an Indian accent, I suspect they are making calls over the Internet which gives them the ability to easily c****e the caller ID display number.

This call is from a pharmacy. They also use 239.234.1609 as an alternative number. They are Indian and don't take your number out of their system.

I got a call from this number at my office.  It was regarding purchasing medication, and apparently I was a "past customer".  I'm in sales, so I used the classic line "In the chance we get disconnected, what's the best number to reach you at?".  Guess what, it worked, and the woman gave me this:  (239) 234-1609.  It works, and I call a few times a day when I'm bored, and make up random stuff, like I need to reorder some ******, or if they know anyone who is interested in waterfront property in Kansas.  It's a great stress reliever.

jsut called my cell phone, ***g up , no message - how'd they get my cell number?

They called just after noon on Sa****ay 7/11/09. I never answer unless I know the number because I get a lot of this since I used the 'services' of an online pharmacy for one prescription a couple of years ago! Now different foreign sounding people all all the time about refilling prescriptions!

They should be ***g - wish we could sue them - called twice in 5 minutes as we were trying to eat dinner.  Harassed us for months but on a different number 866-414-6289 - I let my kindergarteners recite Nursery Rhymes then I used a whistle and blew it as loud as I could and they quit for about 5 months.  *******s.

called my wife about an online pharmacy , just told her she better **** up or else i was going to **** her.... they have been harassing us for the last 3 years... is there anything we can do?

called me at work, as the others asked if i had credit cards.  i asked why do you need to know.  so i can help you lower your balances and become det free. i advised i dont need his help and advised he is calling a business line and to delete the number he called from his list.i advised if contacted a***n will call the attorney generals office.

Man called to ask me to refill my prescription with their pharmacy.  Told them I have requested no phone calls at this number for the past 4 years.  Said thank you and he ***g up.

This number is calling several times I try to call the number back at it says the number is not in service.  What is going on with this if it is not in service how can they call from it?  We are on the do not call list for years n ow and this is becoming a regular problem we have turned people in to the attorney general

Called and an man with strong accent from India asked me if I remembered buying from the walnut store last year at christmas. I played dumb and said I couldnt understand him (was not much of a stretch) and then he ***g up on me.I tried to call back and message said the number was not in service.

Call began with a recording that another company has been using to harass me for 7 months now. Pressed 1 to speak to a rep about lowering the rates on my credit card. The fellow I spoke to had a heavy foreign accent that I could not understand and spoke too close to his head set so the sound was ****her distorted. I think he asked if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rates. Because I wanted to play along to get more info about who was calling me so I could report them, I answered "yes," and he ***g up.

Did not answer. Caller ID stated  Des Moines Iowa. Automated message stated that they could lower my interest rates on my credit cards. I am****uming this is a phishing scam. NEVER GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!
