Anonymous Scammers

Dan B. Trying to scam me out of an object I was selling on Facebook marketplace sent me fake emails from Zelle Saying that they had sent the money. Multiple grammatical errors. supposedly Zelle required me to upgrade my account to a business account for $300. which the scammer was supposedly sending to me and I had to send it back to them. This was to a Gmail address which Zelle does not use.

The person is scamming by going on a dating website called Silver Singles and asking for itunes cards. Sending photos of a female and using the name Portia Brown. This person may be a male or female who claims that her husband had died in an auto accident two years ago. Said she is originally from Des Moines, IA and lived in Grand Prairie, TX for the past 17 years before her husband died in an auto accident. Photo of a female dressed as a three star general in the U.S. Army who is supposedly a nurse, deployed to Afghanistan for the past eight months and that she would return to the States on Aug. 29th Also requesting funds to****ist a supposedly sick daughter using the email address: [email protected] and funds should be sent through Paypal or a cashier's check Also using this phone number 515-428-2330 to text.

There are people out there posing as other people in a catphishing scam, and I believe this to be one of them.
