Rec'd robocall this afternoon with computerized female voice, claiming to be from IRS Investigation Team. Said I had 24 hrs to contact them at this same number, otherwise my local police dept. would be coming by to arrest me! Total scam as: 1. IRS doesn't call people, and certainly wouldn't use a computerized voice. 2. Local law enforcement wouldn't be dealing with IRS issues as this is****ential federal crime and FBI would be involved. 3. A***n, IRS only contacts people via postal mail for any issues. CID only showed phone # and Manhasset, NY
