Told me they had serious allegations a***nst my name. Scared the **** out of me but came here to make sure I wasn’t the only one.

The IRS would never use the terms COPS. They would use the more professional term of "Local Authorities". And the IRS will always give you an opportunity to secure any issues before threatening legal action a***nst. For serious infractions they would send certified letters.

This number called me and left a message (robot) claiming they were from the IRS. They were saying there were 4 unidentifiable charges a***nst me and I needed to take legal action. Please do not fall for this scam. I received the same recording as the person from Manhasset, NY

They will threaten to take legal action a***nst you and put you in jail if you do not comply. This is a lie. It is a scam. The IRS will not call you. The work via snail mail.

Robocaller. Here's the transcript: "And once it get expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action a***nst you. The number to reach us is 516-303-8325. I repeat 516-303-8325. Thank you."

Police scam, "you will be taken custody by the COPS".

Same, I am going to be arrested. HAHA! Scam. If I was going to be arrested, why would they have a computer call me? Silly

Call back or I will be arrested. I tried calling back (just to mess with them but number was disconnected - ***mer...I had a panicked s***ch and fake information prepared. Till next time I guess)
