I have received two phone calls already from a man named Andy and another named Robert (both being the same person I believe).  They state that they are calling from American Legal Services.  State I took a loan from cash net and never paid it back.  They threatened to have the police come the next morning to my house if I don't settle out of court. I knew that it was a scam because I never took a loan from cash net and I know I never received money from cash net into my account as they stated.  I kept asking for details to see their reactions and they stated that they were not a collection agency but then a***n they are asking me to settle today out of court by making a payment.  I told them to call the police and send them to my home that, that would be great.

I received a call today at work from this number, the person informed my that his name is Justin Smith, and that I was being sued because I owed money.  When I asked by who, he just said I better pay or else.After work I noticed I had a missed call and a voice message.  It was someone person indicating that he was calling from American Legal Services, and it was urgent I call back or else, and that he wished me good luck if I didn't return the call.How can these type of calls be stopped, and people like this be punished for making threats?I saved the message left on my cell phone, can any legal action be taken?

Not the number that called me, but the number they gave me to call back in my voice mail they left me. I told these people months ago to stop calling me and that I had reported them to the BBB. These people are very rude, kind of idiots if they think that the generic, American names they give us to go along with their heavy Asian accents are going to fool us, and are definitely scammers.
