Telemarketer asking for pledge to VFW and disabled veterans. I thought I learned online that this was a scam but I can't find the post that said this.

I get calls too - and way too often.  We got the quote and I spoke to them about being dissatisfied with their price & what not.  I thought this would end the calls but apparently not.  And as far as the Do Not Call list, that's only good for "blind" calls.  If you've done business (for instance given them your phone number) then they can call you unless you specifically call and tell them not to call and register a complaint that you've asked them to stop.So I guess we're all stuck with Bil-Ray forever... they're certainly not getting on my good side with their efforts, maybe they can afford to lose****ential customers with being so annoyingAlso shows up as Wilkes-Barr, PA under a different number but it's the same people - we've talked to them as well.
