Reverse phone lookup'd this number .. Under name it said disconnected.. Isn't it illegal to telemarket cell numbers?

This number kept calling my phone so finally i decided to get through to the lady and when i told them i dont have a credit card and to take me off the calling list, she ***g up on me.

No message left. Called back and got generic "call cannot be completed" type message.

The call came in as stated by the automated recording from card services, please press 1 if you would like to lower your interest rate to 6%. When I pressed 1, I was transfered to a live person (after several rings) who then asked if I had more than $4,000 in credit card debt. When I said no, she said OK and ***g up on me!

the number came up on my cell and i called the number and a telephone company recording came on saying"the number you dialed cannot be made, please check the number, to see if u mis-dialed" a number that cannot go thru basically. hhhmm i smell a SCAM RAT!!!

I rec'd a call today September 19th 2010 from 517-931-2043 2 times saying it was regarding my credit card alert its a recording this must be some scam not late on my credit cards.

They just keep calling my cell phone. No message left.

A "company" called my cell phone to lower my credit card rates. When I try and dial back, they are unreachable This is the third time this number has called my cell phone. :S They also call from:

Best way to stop these calls is to add the number to your phone list with the name (Spam or Junk 1,2,3,4,5 and so on.  With these names you will know not to answer and if everybody did this they will  just fade away.

I got a call from 517-931-2043 on December 1, 2009. I didn't answer it and they did not leave a message. FYI: In the USA, you can register your cell phone on the 'Do Not Call' list. www.ftc.gov/donotcall

I received a call too. FBI.. huh! National security my a** they can't even stop these scammers and others like on craigslist. I was looking for an apartment for a friend and all the listings I saw were scams from the same guy or using the same fake name Mike so****ing.. I am so sick of these *******s. This is a warning to scammers if by chance i ever catch one of you, you're done.. Im beating the s**t outta ya. Believe that!

same happened here... got a call on october 30 and November 2. no message.

I have been getting these calls for months. the car warranty people just stopped now it is Card Holder Services Direct. One woman stayed on the phone and said she "deleted" my info but here they go a***n.  The guy I got on the phone today said that they go by Financial Services out of New York, NY.  I am about to go through the phone book and call all the companies listed as that and let them know that a company is using their name to harass people.  The last guy I talked to was named James. Ask for him some time make him hate calling us.

This is just like mass email marketing but via phone.

This is a telemarketing company that sells leads for a number of different markets (Debt Settlement, prepaid health coupons, extended car warranties, etc.)  They have nothing to do w/ any Credit Card you own or your current car warranty.  They simply call every number the Credit Bureaus give them and****ume you have a car warranty or own a credit card and then refer your information to a third party for money in which they then try to sell you on their debt consolidation plan or bogus car warranty.  Debt Consolidation/settlement companies pay anywhere between $15-$75 per lead.

just got this call on my cell, its about some health care s**t for less then 1 dollar a day i pressed 1 to get connected to a person and it just sits on dead air. what the f***..

A similar number called me twice on Sat Oct. 30th at 11am and 12pm(CST), no msg left.  Today I just received another call from this number and a***n no msg.

I just got a phone call from this number as well ... at 11:56 am over on the east coast....I didnt answer and they didnt leave a msg....i thought id randomly google it and im reading everyone else's comment..i dont have a credit card either....REALLY weird!!

Just got a call from this number, was a pre-recorded message for "inexpensive health care" that wants us to call for health care that costs less than $100 per month. Funny, others have had pre-recorded messages for credit card svcs from the same number within minutes of my call.

Just received a call today. It was a prerecorded message stating they were from 'Credit Card Services' and though there are no problems with my account, they could lower my interest rate. It said to hit '1' for more information, but the recording actually cut-off.

They just called my cell phone with a prerecorded notification about how to lower the interest rate on my credit cards, consider this my final notice, and to press one now to be connected to a live operator.  At no time did they say what company it was.

Yes, I received a call from this number at 9:11 a.m. today (Central time). No message.This weekend, I received two calls on Sa****ay a.m. from a similar number: (517) 931-2044.

they just called my cell, i answered, was a recording about credit card, which i dont own any, but claims it wasnt about a bill but how to lower an interest.

This is the second time this number has called me. I got a  call on the 30th of October and today. Didn't leave a message.
