They called my cell.

Anonymous Reverse phone lookup'd this number .. Under name it said disconnected.. Isn't it illegal to telemarket cell numbers?

They called my work cell 9/20th/2010 i didn't pick up. They didn't leave a message.

The name to the number that keeps coming up on my caller id is Colwell. I have tried looking it up and tons of things come up when I search it.

Report this number to the FCC (federal communication commission). I did today. Sometimes they call and **** up after a beep. Other times they give the last four of my visa and say they want to give me a free wal-mart gift card. Go to the FCC's website and report them!!!

this is nothing more than a mortgage scam. wanting you to switch your mortgage to them. don't waste your time answering or calling them back

This number keeps calling me, never leaving me a message. I either want to know who this is, or for them to stop calling me.

Caller ID indicates Atlanta Journal Cons***ution.  I used to get 2 or 3 of these within 10 day period from this Michigan area code number.    I complained to them and the calls ceased.  It has been about 3 months since I got one but one came in today and I immediately contacted the local Customer Service Dept (for what it's worth) for the AJC and informed them I was not pleased with (1) them calling or having contracted out for calls to come from some boiler room operation, no matter where it was located and (2) neither do I want any contact from the local office, other than directly related to existing subscription.Further, I informed them if one more call came in, I'd be canceling subscription and everybody I know would be informed of their practice and would probably boycott their paper also.  It will then be reported to the BBB and the FCC  that they have violated specific instructions.  I suggest everyone else do the same - remember, one or two complaints may not go very far, but a bunch of complaints / reports will get someone's attention and we can put a stop to this.

Got a call this evening at 8:36 pm.  No aone said anything when I answered.  Called the number back and quickly got a (fast) busy signal.

THIS NUMBER CALLED MANY TIMES WITHIN THE PAST THREE DAYS.  NEVER ANSWER THE CALL JUST **** UP EVERYTIME.  NOW I KNOW ABOUT THIS NUMBER.  THIS WAS ON MY CELL PHONE AND ALWAYS NEVER ANSWER CALLS I DON`T KNOW.

Ma****e called, using s****ed caller ID, playing a pre-recorded message about lowering my credit card rates, and the usual "Press 1 to speak to a live operator and lower your rates now." I get several of these calls a week, and I'm on the DNCL. I always press 1 and ask to be put on their do not call list. The usually acknowledge my request with a ****up. This time, the conversation went like this:Scammer: "Card Financial Services (or so****ing similar, mumbled quickly), this is (mumbled her name quickly) speaking. Can I help you?"Me: "Are you going to **** up on me?"Scammer: "You betcha!"  It's un***homable. I really wonder why they bother to call, other than to harass and annoy people?

Got dead air.

Ridiculous i get one of these calls at least twice a week on my cellular device. Quite annoying actually. "Hi this is Steve calling. Blah blah blah some **** about Obama and his stimulus."

I received a call from this number and called back on the number showing on our Caller ID.  I punched in my number and heard a recording that my number has been removed from their calling list.  Now, we'll see if they will really remove it or if I just added my number to several more frustrating agencies.

I just got a call from this number on my work phone line.  It was a recorded message telling me that someone entered my name to win somthing from Home Depot or Lowes.  I ***g up as I have not shpooed at either one of these stores in months and I know I didn't enter in any contest!

Recieved a call from this number with no name on the ID -  I have had a problem with identy theft so I call back all weird numbers to make sure they are not trying to collect on a debt, since they have called my house a few times.  But everytime I call back, it doesn't even ring- it is just silent then go to fast busy.

I have had many calls from Call Center, MI but this is the first one from 517-931-2374.  I called back on my toll free cell phone and got a recording about their various products and services...whatever that means.

irritated Got a call from this number at 7:20am my time.  Rang the usual five times and then ***g up when voice mail kicked in.This is when you there was a way to send a few ***dred volts back up the line to train the rodents....Getting really tempted to get one of those "whitelist" voicemails....

Steve I too am on the DNC but have been receiving calls from various scammers. From car warranty to this company. I have programmed my cell to only ring on known numbers and to go to a free voicemail (www.youmail.com) where you can program specific greeting for each number. I use a message that says "calling party pays" or "number no longer in service." Friends get a special I refuse to call back - don't want to let them know the number is valid.

Just got the call...thought it was a business call, so I star sixty-nined and found the number 517-931-2424 and call them back.  It picks up with a recording to enter to your area code and phone number...I hope to God it's not one of those bill you per minute numbers.  Area code says the call originates from Michigan.

gloria Called 4 times today... I stopped being nice asking them to stop because they only **** up. So, I get back at them the only way i know how. I press 1, wait for them to answer, and cuss them out. I throw in the phrase loser telemarketer. Makes me feel better at least. ha!
