Left a message saying she was a Nurse from Aetna. Since when do they call?

Yep, CT Corp. I fillied out an online form to get a quote on a registered agent service. They called me back from this number to give me the quote and sell me on their services.

It was an unknown number to me with no caller ID so I didn't answer it.  When I tried to call it back I got "The number you dialed is no longer in service" message.  I am guessing that it is from some telemarketing outfit or so****ing.

My husband received a call from someone at this number claiming to be from the Department of Tax and Finance, requesting his SS#, which of course he didn't give them.  Be careful!  We're going to call the official IRS phone number (Not the unverified, unlisted number the person on the phone gave) to confirm that this was indeed an attempted scam.

got a call from this number and I answered only to hear the phone go dead. Called it back and said the number was not in service. I suspect it is the dialer that is being used to attempt to fraudulently collect NYS business taxes. I have had two calls from 518 claiming to be NYS tax collection and asking me for my SSN.
