Leave a CommentSpouse got the same call. This is a scam. Do not give them any information. Even though they may quote the last four of your social they are pfishing to get the whole thing. Tell them you want copies of such paperwork for said debt and you want it sent via certified mail. They will immediately turn tail and run. This number is listed as a land line out of Ams****am, NY. All of thye callers are foriegn and tell peole they are "officers" and that there will be a "lawsuit" if they don't get payment of more information from the recipient of the call. TELL THEM NOTHEING except that you want copies of the paperwork for said debt.
Got a message this morning from "Officer Kevin Williams" about a "serious criminal matter" and I was the prime suspect.
