Brooklyn Total spam. I ordered Retin-A online and the company called 7 times asking for a copy of my driver's license. Said no way and told them to cancel the order.

i am also getting calls from these ididots.. it is very scary though that they do have my information. I have filed a repot with local and external authorities. They are now using the phone number 646 465 7676 and the name they told me was KEVIN COOPER.. i really do hope for everyone's sake they catch them and fast!! i dont want my information out there!! /:

Spouse got the same call.  This is a scam.  Do not give them any information.  Even though they may quote the last four of your social they are pfishing to get the whole thing.  Tell them you want copies of such paperwork for said debt and you want it sent via certified mail.  They will immediately turn tail and run.  This number is listed as a land line out of Ams****am, NY.  All of thye callers are foriegn and tell peole they are "officers" and that there will be a "lawsuit" if they don't get payment of more information from the recipient of the call.  TELL THEM NOTHEING  except that you want copies of the paperwork for said debt.

yup, its global credit and collection, probably calling about your capital one account. I spoke with them last week, and was able to get a good deal to fix my debt! they're pretty helpful, just ask for them to freeze your interest in return for a payment plan, since they can usually do that for you. its gonna save me a lot of money :P
