Disabled my SS# because of fraud and were s****ing legal actions. Call them back at 920-545-1215 but the calling # was 540-385-0277. All BS. Reported here and now deleting.

Scam

This number called claiming Social Security fraud. Message received was, "...filed on your Social Security number for fraudulent activities so when you get this message kindly call at the earliest possible on our number before we begin with the proceedings that is 540-385-0456 thank you..." I called back out of curiosity and the phone was answered on the second ring with "Social Security Administration" (first give away, no government office answers with a human on the second ring). When I didn't speak the speaker said, "Madam? Madam?" ~ caller ID by the SSA even less likely. Can't these folks be hired for so****ing honest?!

Message said I must call 540-385-7651 to cancel a subscription or I will be charged have no idea what this is about

This number calls my house several times a week. It shows on caller ID as Christiansburg, VA. When I answer, there is no response. If I call back, music plays first, then a recording states "Goodbye" and the phone disconnects. I have now blocked the number. I tried to verify where and who was calling since I know so many spammers can make that impossible for the normal look up. Well, it is apparently a scammed and can't easily be determined.
