Received a call from this number while was talking on other line.

A man called me just a few minutes ago....He asked for Mike who is my husband, I asked what his name was and he told me Mike...When I said Mike who he ***g the phone up....This number is also on the DO NOT CALL list. Getting really aggravated with these people calling for money....

Credit card had a security problem

It's a callback # for firstsource - another all-indian firm.  however, their calls come up as 'private'...why are they listing themselves that way?

THESE PEOPLE CALLED ME TELLING ME THAT I WAS GOING TO JAIL BEACAUSE I OWED THEM MONEY I DO NOT OWE THEM ANYTHING. I CONTACTED MY LOCAL POLICE AND I TURNED THEM  I HOPE THEY GET WHAT THEY DESERVED AND THAT THEY ARE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT  THANK YOU .........

Bad, bad people...I suggest taping the conversation (let them know you are) and request they send you do***entation validating the debt they are attempting to collect.  Under no cir***stances should you send these people any money - they have proven repeatedly it is a scam.  Keep your cool...Familiarize yourself with the federal law pertaining to debt collection (http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpa/fdcpact.htm).  If after speaking with the representative you feel as though they violated the statutes by threatening arrest and/or threatening or actually contacting your employer, contact the Florida Attorney General's office and the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov).     The Florida Attorney General's office is currently suing the group****ociated with this phone number (http://myfloridalegal.com/__852562220065EE67. ... bass,associates).  You can file an online complaint at http://myfloridalegal.com/contact.nsf/contact.Good luck!

Steven T Leo Rogers Called with his heavy indian accent. Stated that I was about to be arrested for non payment of a loan.  This is illegal, he is being abusive and harrassing.  Would not give a physical address.  I contacted the offices of Dean Malone, who sues bad debt collectors and filed a complaint with my states attorney general office
