Appears that they've been doing this for a long time. Just got a call from them but didn't pick up.

I got the same call--the caller ID said UNKNOWN NAME 1006--but left message alerting that a hold was being made to my debit card and to press 1 etc.--I don't have a debit card with that company.

Got a phone call tonight on my cell phone stating that my Debit card had been deactivated from the phone number 5612452100.  The automated response stated to press 2 to reactivate.  I pressed 2 and the same automated response replayed.  I kept pressing 2 and nothing would happen.  I tried pressing 0 to get to a real live person, then nothing would happen.  Message would just replay all over a***n. I called my bank and reported this to them

I have received a message from this number on both my personal cell phone and my work number. It is an automated system stating my debit card with Evergreen Direct Credit Union has been blocked due to security issues and to dial '1' to transfer to 'security' in order to reinstate it.  You are then asked to enter your 16 digit account number. I couldn't get past this point. I do not have an account with a Credit Union. This is clearly a fraud. According to the website for Evergreen Direct Credit Union (https://www.evergreendirect.org/news.php?id=86)"FRAUD ALERT!If you are contacted by phone or left a message to return a call to EvergreenDIRECT-BEWARE! This may be fraud. If you are notified that your credit union credit card has been temporarily suspended because of****ential fraudulent activity and asked to provide ANY information to reactivate your card-DO NOT GIVE THIS INFORMATION!In an effort to prevent fraud, EvergreenDIRECT will on occasion call to verify if you have made certain purchases. EvergreenDIRECT will NEVER ask you for your card number or PIN. To avoid this inconvenience, swipe your card and "sign" for transactions at point of sale terminals."

I got a call from this number - ignored, but got a cut off voicemail asking to press 1 or 2 to proceed with account information.Very su****ious. Sounds like credit card fraud.
