Zelda In The Dark Collection agency. Hospital bills I had that should not been turned over. I tryed to explain that I had spoken to someone in charity department. They said notbto worry, they eould take care of it. So I didn't make any payments. Guess I should have done some follow-up with the hospital.

Did not have correct name but had phone number & address wanted to send 2 years of product I hadn't asked for & charge close to $200 within 90 days.

I received a call from a "too-familiar" person who said he was helping America's homeless veterans. He didn't want to take no for an answer.

Called me on Memorial Day; when I answered phone no one was there, then a disconnect click a few seconds later.  Caller ID was; "Delray Beach FL" at  10:01 am.

This number keeps calling every day,no messages left.  I called the number back, lady answers says her son accidenty called...yeah right... Fl. to Va.

Stop these people from calling me overage over again.

Well, because the callers claim to be raising funds for Veterans so one might assume that a Veteran would be more likely to defend the organization. He is simply stating that even though he is a Veteran he does not appreciate the tactics this organization is using.In the future a simple "Thanks for your service to our country" will suffice.

It's a telemarketing firm supposedly collecting for a charity to circumvent do not call rules.. they pose as different charities.. and may in fact be phishing.. once they get credit card data for a "donation" you are open for abuse.  best to tell them get a more honest job.. like an escort service pimping for their mother. Sadly, charities are run for the benefit of those that run them anyway... and the company doing the "soliciting" takes a huge bite.. it's all scamming the public on some level, sons of Bushes.

I really don't care who they are, and I'm a veteran. I don't do business this way. They can send material in the mail (which is the method I require) and I will look at it. I will then pictch into file 13 if I'm not interested.WHAT DOES BEING A VETERAN HAVE TO DO WITH IT ????

Avalon has been calling my mom several times a day for weeks.  I answered to day and the lady tried to tell me my mom had been sending them regular generous donations for Breast Cancer which is a lie.  I asked her to stop calling and remove the number and the lady laughed then hung up.  If anyone has the company information on Avalon I'd would love to flood their phone lines with calls from all of us who have been harassed by them.

This number listed as Avalon has called my elderly mother's phone multiple times a day, never anyone on the other end, for over 2 wks.  This is getting to be harassing!!!

Avalon has been calling me 2 or 3 times a day for weeks.  I usually just mute my ringer, but have picked up a few times just to tell them off, but there's nobody there.  It's really getting old.

Same behavior that everyone else is experiencing.  Extremely annoying and absolutely pathetic they would tarnish American service personnel with their scam.  Does anyone know what phone provider supports this number?  I'd like to talk to one of their Senior Marketing or Customer Support leaders and put some pressure there.

They are a scam artist and identity thieves posing as a charity:  America's Homeless Vets.  This number is also spoofed as I got a message the number is not in order when I called them to remove me from their list.  I reported them to my State Do Not Call List and to Federal Communications Commision.  I do not know who else to notify but everyone should at least notify the FCC.  They have called me a dozen times and no person is ever on the line...one time a message said for me to give my credit card # to donate to charity.

These nuts been calling me off and on for a few weeks.This crap is getting so bad, I onlu answer phone calls from ppl I know. Reputable businesses should do something about this. It hurts everybody.

I just got the call and let it go to Voicemail. The person who said this is "american paralyzed veterans" is probably correct. I regularly get calls from Veteran organizations asking for donations or wanting to send me free lightbulbs and such. I am also a disabled veteran who could use some assistance but they never have information on how to apply for assistance, just info on how to recieve donations. So I do not donate. My thoughts are, if you are genuinely trying to help us, then you should be interested enough to not only know how to recieve but at least be willing to assist in setting up the giving portion too!

These people called me at 7:45pm, left no msg on answering machine.  Caller ID only says "Delray Beach, FL"  Internet research seems to indicate they are "American Homeless Veterans" or a similar-named charity [several charities have "homeless" and "vets" or "veterans" in the title]."American Homeless Veterans" operates out of Indiana, and is a dubious charity (does not respond to BBB inquiries).I put them on "call block," but these computer/robo dialers can "spoof" their numbers, so...
