These calls are from a type of exemptd group designated by the IRS as a 501,c,10. It is not a charity but is****ociated with private****ociation whose membership is primarily retired public safety personnel. This type of****ociation, whether right or wrong, is specifically exempted from many of the do not call (DNC) regulations. They are NOT exempt from****ential enforcement action if they continue to call you after you specifically direct the caller to place your telephone number on the company's internal DNC list. This specific group uses a telemarketer to call on its behalf that is based in Ca***a. The group says that they are working to correct the problems, but they seem to continue.  By the way, it appears that the 570-402-0180 is just a "pass through" number and the calls actually come from Texas and other locations. Tell the caller to block your number, then file complaints with your state's Attorney General or the FTC. After they get enough complaints, they can do so****ing about it.

Received a call tonight from this number, told me they were some "STATEWIDE APPEAL" company. He said Ms.(my last name). I told them I didn't like these calls at 8:30 at night and I was the "Do Not Call List" and asked me who he was and I told him I did know and he said he would keep calling back until I know. How do you get them to stop calling?

Called tonight at 8:30, wanted to know if I would give money to the police funds to help kids.

just rec'd my third call from this number.  this time heard a beep when i picked up, like an answering ma****e, then heard nothing.  after saying*****o twice, i ***g up.

Called no one spoke just disconnect

calls repeatedly. keeps asking for my wife. when i ask what it is regarding, they say never mind and **** up. I actually got a name one time, but it wasn't brent ***tle.Gonna have some fun with them the next time they call, though.

same as everyone else, got a call tonight at 8:25 (dec 11, 07), i did not answer, message sounds like background noise, perhaps a bar, called back, said caller can't take messages at this time.

This number has called several times. No one is on the other end and no message is left when I let the ma****e pck up.

I just got a call from this number, Googled it to find out who it was, and found all of these websites that apparently have the same problem with this "Brent ***tle" from Stroudsburg, PA.Can anything be done to him? Harassment of some sort?

Several calls from this number...no one on the other end. We're on the do not call list.
