Called about an issue with a bill. I pay all online and all are good. SCAM!!

Someone from this number called me today (11/1/17) and left a voicemail message on my cell phone. When the phone rang it came up saying "Unknown Caller." Claimed they were trying to reach me regarding an urgent matter and said to call them back at this number and to please have a copy of utility bill handy. They even left a reference number.

Said she had been trying to reach me regarding an urgent matter...even had a reference number.

Received a call 10/31/17 at 12:54PM number came up restricted. Voice Mail was left from a Jane Fowler and said she has been trying to reach me about an urgent matter regarding the supply portion of my utility bill and to call her back at 570-904-8995. Very ***ue.

Left a reference number. I immediately called my utility company and reported the scammer.

Called from "unknown" number - let it go to voicemail. The number that showed up in voicemail was (570) 904-8995 and it was "Jane Fowler" saying they were trying to contact me about an urgent matter with the supply portion of my utility bill and to call them back - provided a "ref #" and such... I don't even live in PA. Definitely a scam.

Spam them back.

Tried to tell me that there was 'an urgent problem with my distribution charge.' The problem is, evidently, that they can't defraud me. Since I do all my bill-paying online, I can check to see if there is a problem with my account. All paid up, all on time.

Woman named Jane Fowler left a message stating that there is so****ing wrong with my utility bill and I should call back at the noted number. Only problem is, I don't live in that area anymore. Obvious scam is obvious.

Spam called me about my utility bill being overdue. Said they were "National Choice Over....." Caution Number May Be Scamming You! They were insistent I was late with my payment. (Never happens) I knew they were liars.
