I got a call from this number from a man named James White.  He asked if I knew "Pablo" and it was a friend of mine.  He said "Pablo" was in big financial trouble, that he was calling me from the financial crimes division, and that if I didn't have "Pablo" call him back then he would take legal action a***nst both of us.

I believe this is definitely some kind of exploit scam because this number showed on our caller ID and my daughter answered. Some Kid claimed to be "Joey" knew her name and kept asking her "Didn't we f*ck?" Has to be some new phone trick.

I constantly get calls from this number, ***ody answers and then when you try to call back you get a fast busy or it constantly rings.  What is this number and who are they?

I keep getting calls from this number and they always **** up.I tryed to call the number back and says please try a***n later all lines are busy.I am sick and tired of this number calling my house,So****ing has to be done about this.

Someone called from this number, but ***ody was there. They did not answer me nor did they **** up. This is the first time this has happened to me. My phone number begins with 570-970 so I thought it was someone local until I tried to google it.

forget my last update... for those of you recieving calls or placing calls and this number appears from somebody on the other line you know, i believe its called VoIP fraud... its a form of fraud and iden***y theft... search "VoIP fraud" on google for more information... hope this helps

I got several calls from this number on my caller ID.I blocked my number and tried returning the call but I getan "error in conection" note with a rapid busy signal.Could be a scam artist, collection agency, or a hit manfrom my ex-wife.Who knows?In any event, I highly recommend you let your non-personalvoice mail pick this up....

update - i believe this may be a collection agency/ agency bounty ***ter/ etc. s****ing the caller id in order to record and obtain information to collect on payment. i was a victim of credit card fraud and iden***y theft that i was not aware of until mid may that has not been settled yet.. let me know if this rings a bell with anyone that posted here

I had the same problem when my mother called from her cell phone 5709704584 showed on my caller id instead of hers

I called my mother in Pa 570 area code from my 321 home phone area code and the number 1-570-970-4584 appeared on her caller id instead of my number. Explain that???

its a collection agency that uses local numbers to contact you. you will notice that if you call back, you'l get a busy signal. Its just a tatic to get you to pick up the phone.
