I got the same call as Dena.  I just disregarded the call because it wasn't familiar.....

caller just said "oh" then ***g up, tried to call back and the operator said number has been disconnected and is no longer in service

They left me message and stated I spoke with them last week about lowering interest rates on credit cards. I never spoke with these people/ Another bogus scam from debt consolidation company.

Male computerized voice that simply says "hi", then it sounds like a bad connection, then a disconnect. My boyfriend also got the call a few days ago.

I believe this number is used to phish.  "Brian Stevens" states that we talked last week about reducing the rate on our credit card indebtedness since we have only been making minimum payments.  We have never made minimum payments on any debt, and I believe this is yet another scam.  Since he didn't identify me by name, and this number is not published anywhere, I****ume the recording is randomly dialing numbers and purporting to be calling in response to our call (to avoid problems with the DNC registry.
