“How are you?” I don’t know anyone with texter’s area code, so I checked Number Guru, noted that number has been reported several times as scammer, and replied to the text with the URL for Number Guru’s report. Also reported to Verizon.

I’m very. suspect this to be a scammer, many scammers today use spoofed numbers or numbers created per call, which make them difficult to track and identify.

Crystal this number calls three to four times a day never leaving a message. When you call back, it's like you are on hold. Their phone never rings just plays music. If you stay on hold long enough, someone will answer the phone and it is some kind of telemarketer asking if you're interested in going to college. I told him to remove my number from their list and all he would say was I understand, I got it. So, I guess I'll see.

This number keeps calling me during my work hours. When I asked the person to take me off of tier call list, he said no. I kind of chuckled, and said please. He said no again so I hung up. Not sure what they are playing at, but don't appreciate being harassed.
