I answered on my company line and a woman ****** said, "oh I didn't know this was a business," and ***g up on me! RUDE!

Received a phone call saying I won 2 free memberships for 2 years with Powerhouse Gym in Rochester.  They could not tell me how I won, what contest was entered ("perhaps a friend registered you in a grocery store drawing".  When I asked the girl to tell me my name, she told me that her manager told her to call and that she did not have my name.  I told her to check with the manager for my name to make sure she called the correct number.  The girl put me on hold and came back to tell me that her manager would not be in until 2:00p.m.

I also received a call. On my cell phone. They told me a friend had registered my name in a free drawing. I knew it was a scam, told them so, and ***g up.

i just ***g up on them...total scam!

I just got this call too.  The girl automatically said "I guess someone entered you" as part of her schpiel.  I didn't ask how I got entered, so it's kind of funny that she said that right away.

This is a marketing scam.  You didn't actually win anything.  They are randomly calling people.

Somelady called claiming I'd won 2 free memberships for 2 years for a powerhouse gym in Farmnington Hills MI and wanted to schedule an appointment for me to come by to pick them up. The fee was an $8 per month "maintenance fee" to keep the membership. I don't live anywhere near Michigan. The number is out of Utica MI. Sounds like a scam. She said she'd pass the winnings along and ***g up directly.
