Got the exact same call.  It's a scam.  Just a way to get you into their door.  I'd stay away from powerhouse.

They called about a gym membership , was a female, from powerhouse supposedly. I dont live anywhere near there and she said i could transfer it to the rochester location. Knew where it was, might a actually been legit. Told me a friend entered my name and i won a 2 yr. membership. It would only cost $8 a month dues. NO THANKS i told the b***h, and ***g up. Got a call from same number 2 days later, but last 2 digits were different. weird.

this is the second call i got from this phone number saying i won a membership to a gym in farmington hills during a raffle a friend entered me in. they kept trying to get me to come to their location and pick up my membership card. however, a gym in farmington hills would not have a 586 area code. the caller also got frustrated and ***g up when i explained i dont live near farmington hills, am already a member of another gym and am not interested in a 2 year membership with them.
