Got a lot of these calls about renewing my auto warranty but I don't even have a car. I searched for a way to stop these calls and saw a comment elsewhere of a do not call service for a small number of companies that call consumers. I called and spoke to the person at 866-246-7196. When asked she said their clients want to minimize complaints and save time not calling people who don't want to be called. She verified this caller's phone number as on their list and added my receiving phone number to the do not call list. It took a day and the calls have stopped.

Received a call from them I answered and said*****o about 5 times to no reply. So I ***g up. Called back to get a recording about being placed on a do not call list for the number that called.
