I searched for a way to stop these calls and saw a comment elsewhere of a do not call service for a small number of companies that call consumers. I called and spoke to the person at 866-246-7196. When asked she said their clients want to minimize complaints and save time not calling people who don't want to be called. She verified this caller's phone number as on their list and added my receiving phone number to add to the do not call list. It's took a day and the calls have stopped.

Well they tried to call me, but I have no idea who it is because that's not my area code... And they didn't reply to me so I'm guessing it was the wrong # but I wanted to check.(:

joe r this number called. asked for a lewis, advised wrong number(it's my cell number). they said let us offer you. I said you didn't call for me do not offer me and the lady said then just **** up. i waited and a recording came on to offer me "If your car is 10 years or older" an auto repair insurance company. Not only SPAM but belligerent s***bags ! This is the 2nd call in 2 days to " A WRONG NUMBER" and a cell phone at that

The phone number now comes up as "fraudulent caller."

All they needed to stop the phone calls was the caller's phone number to verify it on their list and the receiver's phone number to place it on their do not call list.
