Received a call from a friendly fellow named Joseph Kay on Aug 25th 9pm MST from # 604-780-7594. He claims that he is from Auto Credit Acceptance Corp and that he has 2 buyers for my car. He told me a ***ndon with a credit limit of $21,000 being represented by Funding Way and a Troy with a credit limit of $23,500 represented by I-Drive. He tried to get me to setup a money transfer for $760 instead of using a credit card. What I neglected to mention was that I work for TELUS and had already checked everything out. He is calling from a Voice over IP service (computer phone) and not a landline like he claimed. THIS IS A SCAM! I will be reporting this to the Scam phone guys in the morning, the # is 1-888-495-8501.
