Also when I called the number back they would let me talk to "officer Mason" and I found that very weird that you should talk to him and not someone that answers the phone, and has all the info also.

I recieved a call from the same number to on my cell as well at work. How can they terrorize people like this. It scared me. Is anything going to happen to these people that are doing this, this is wrong. I think so****ing needs to be done, this is why its hard for anyone to trust people about anything.

I got the same exact message this morning. The scary thing is they had all of my info. I agree about it being a scam when they said they would pick up my 2 references as well. Totally ridiculous! My message was from the same person as well.

I received a message at my job and the last 4 digits of my social security number were wrong.

I just got a phone call about 10 minutes ago stating that a police officer will be picking me up at my place of residence tomorrow and/or at my place of work. Apparently they said I got a loan through the internet which I have no ackowledge of.

*** I just got the same call, i'm guessing you didnt get arrested , but you can bet they are , calling the local township, and the bbb, and new yourks state attorneys office .......this is such bull s**t , I was terrorfied to say the least

I received a call from 607-231-9098..didnt answer and got a vm ..the voicemail said that he was officer Mason  a sheriff and that they were sending legal officers to come to my job/hone and pick me up and take me to jail for more than two days...I really knew it was a scam we he said that the officers were going to pick up my two refrences alsoReply !

I rcvd a call from this # 607-231-9098.  I dont answer #'s i am not familiar with, so i let go to my voice mail.  Apparently, the local sheriff's dept. are either going to arrest me and/or interrogate my supervisors/managers from work.  I found this site by sear****g bing with the info he kindly provided.  You would figure he would be more genuine with an Indian name and not an American sounding name.

I just rcvd a call from officer chris williams and in hs vm, stated i would be arrested and or my work supervisors would be interrogated.  F***ing idiot calls my job, guess who is going to answer the pphone?  Me!  If i put information about my job, my direct line will be called.  How long did the calls continue for you?

these indian people call with american names claiming to be from the Terrace law office the ladys name was "maggie williams" and the man "john" claiming to be with the cyber crime unit and said that i owed money for a payday loan that i never recieved, they told me the cops would be at my house in 2 hrs to arrest me. They claimed that they are in ny but gave me a C.A # to call him back on Monday after he "follows up with the investigation" i call bull s**t
