I got a call from this number and it was a woman's voice on a recording that said it was the last attempt of the IRS to reach me as they were filing a suit a***nst me. I didn't get the number as to where to call. Funny thing...I don't owe the IRS anything! I'd like to put an end to these nuisance calls. Usually a 231 number is a cell phone number...and, the IRS doesn't call people with information such as that without any mail contact or prior contact. These scams need to do their homework and be more convincing.

JZ I got a call from this number claiming it was the IRS and that they were looking for me. I was told to call 202-239-1*** immediately.

Two days in a row now this number appears on my caller i.d. & I called it back and get a recording t hat the number has been disconnected??? So Y does it keep calling and leaving no message?

The Caller is an Indian that goes by the fake name of Max Morris. Ever caller is of Indian Origin based in India from the background noise (I'm Indian) They claim you have a past due CashAdvance or Payday loan. They usually buy this information from Online sources and sometimes from the Payday loans shops themselves. They claim to be calling on behalf of the Law offices of David Harrison or Baker Mckenzie @ 9*** Wilshire boulevard Beverly hills 90212 From the #'s Below

Also when I called the number back they would let me talk to "officer Mason" and I found that very weird that you should talk to him and not someone that answers the phone, and has all the info also.
