Just got the following text: "customer issue, wachovia service frozen. please call 608-237-7111"  When I called the number back it asked me to enter the last 4 digits of my social security number.  This is a SCAM! Beware!

Text Message to my cellphone last night:9099: Customer issue, wachovia service frozen. please call at 608 237 7111"What tipped me off is that I do not have any Wachovia accounts

My wife just got a text telling her that her Wachovia account had been frozen, the thing is she doesn't have an account but she did call her bank and they told her it was a scam.Just human pieces of ****, thats all they are. To lazy to make their own money so they steal others. A total waste of a person.

Received cell phone message to call number  Wachovia account frozen which I do not have.Forwarded message to my daughter , thought it might be hers.She googled number and found out it's a scam.

Just got a text message saying Wachovia account customer issue - called bank and was told this was fraudulent. Do not respond to this.

The number is coming from Mexico.  So don't call it if you don't want to be charged for the call.

I got the same s**** call from that number and like an idiot fell victim to it, but called the bank right away. The number belongs to a University of Wisconsin professor (John Bollinger) who spends his winters in Puerto Vallarta, so I'm guessing the cell phone was stolen and put to use by the worthless s*** to commit international bank fraud.

I just got a text from this number and when you call they ask you for the last digits of your social security number and your card number. I don't even have a Wacovia account.

Get text messages with s****ed number, 600-500-0013 telling me to  call 608-237-7111 because my Wachovia account has been frozen
