I got several phone calls from this number.  If I picked up the phone it's always silent.  You don't have to harass people this way.....

Not only do they ****up every time they call (most every day), if you try and call back to get your name taken off the list, the number 'isn't working'.  It's sad that someone has the time to call people all day just to **** up.

I'm the owner of a small business in southern NJ and I received a call from this number 609-948-0982. The caller ID showed up as Brigantine, NJ. Luckily I did not answer but, made sure to add this number to my "DO NOT ANSWER" entry on my phone. That way I'll know next time these worthless grease ***** try to call me. I just found out they are actually "Italian American Police Society of New Jersey".If so, it means that they benefit only the Italian cops.This is ridiculous.Why do they have to separate themselves from the other races?Isn't this America and shouldn't the Police be the one to be the most equal-opportunity type of organization?They should at least just call Italians then.

Yup, I'm getting about 2 calls a day from them.In the past I've picked it up and ended up donating money twice so now I know better not to pick up.I just don't pick up but it's really annoying.I basically don't pick up any unknown call or a number I don't know so we'll see who gets tired first. I mean I don't call people saying I need money because I need a new desk. Why are the police any more special? It doesn't give them any right to harass people like this.

Now they call 3 times a day.. they will not stop.. they are harassing us and I would like to know who I can report them to, please help...

Caller called my business line and sasked for the owner.  I asked if it was a sales solication call and he then proceeded to tell me about how we can help officers and how much they need bulletproof vests and the like. I began to respond by saing "No, there is.." and he ***g up on me.  Absolutely rude an frankly I donate a lot of money personally and through my business, but I would not recommend this organization for this reason alone.  Whe I combine it that the organization is really the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey with a different DBA name cloaking their iden***y, I am offended.  This is a no ***iner-NEVER donate money to a phone solicitor, lest not this place in particular.

I get my daily call from these guys.  They just **** up when I answer...

I am so ******ed! I was talking about the wrong organization. God I'm such and idiot!!! I think I should **** myself just so the world can be a better place. Why do they even let ******s like me even live pass birth. Maybe one day someone can just ***** me I would love that. I also love big loads in the face!!!!

"James" is a shill for the telemarketing firm that is calling. They call every week, and a***n today, oftena ****-up call. Last time I got a human and said don't call. I'm on the Do Not Call list. Put me on your DNC list. The girl said, we don't have a DNC list, we're calling on behalf of a charity, so we don't have to use the national DNR list.  It's a telemarketing firm, not a real charity.

I got a call from this number, ID said njpof and the guy was really nice. I checked out the foundation and saw that they really helped out with vest for new  officers. I gave a donation and i was also able to use it for tax deductions.

Called twice in one day, asking for a made-up name. Wehn told they had wrong name, he tried to give his pitch about representing police officers and their families. I said no thanks, put us on your do not call list. Moments later, another call. Told they had just called, I asked to be on their do not call list and said I'm on the national do not call registry, so why keep calling? Today they called and ***g up. Caller id said NJPOF.

Oh, and all I did was *69. Not sure if that's relevant...

Just got a call and researched the number. I'm at work, a small family business, and was asked "Is the owner of the company is there?". I said no, and he said "Have a GREEEAAAT day".Sounds like they are fishing for money and/or donations. Or maybe Tony The Tiger is prank calling...

I moved into a new place in Aug 07, my phone wasn't on ten minutes when th calls s****ed. It's now Dec 07, they haven't stopped yet. I'm on two "don't call" lists yet they still call. How they got my new number from the s**** I don't know. No messages on my answering ma****e, yet in one day they called 7 times...
