It's Me They said my name I never confirmed if it was me or not instead I said who was calling they never said anything after that.. obviously SPAM!! GET A LIFE!

the reason may be Spam or collection agency. If you are behind a month on your cell phone, Verizon customers, Verizon will start calling from weird numbers to see if you pick up or someone is still using the phone. They will not leave a message because then they are giving you an electronic trail as to their contacting you several times a day every day until you are paid up. Verizon starts the helpful anonymous calling a day after you are a month behind on your phone bill. And no, they don't leave messages, duh, you should know why let's not play games.

So these people from somewhere in India keep calling me wanting to give me a $100 dollar gift card for using my credit card at "one of their partners, walmart, target etc." They called about 500 times while I was at work until my husband was ready to smash the phone. They finally got me at home tonight and they kept asking me my address and calling me "Mum Julie" They had the last 4-digits of my credit card...I finally told the guy I did not want anything he had and he should stop calling. Call me crazy but I don't think stores just randomly give out $100 gift cards for having used your VISA at their store. SCAMMER! I am going to report this to the ftc.

Bob K Scammers had my name, address, phone number, and last 4 of an expired credit card. They were phishing for more info for the purpose of Identity Fraud! UPDATE: I attempted to file a report at the Do Not Call Registry site, but it was rejected because of an invalid area code ... They need a new programmer as this is a major system FAILURE. Call my cell phone 2 nights in a row at 10:00pm. They have last 4 numbers of a credit card that is no longer acive and said "you've been chosen..blah blah blah". 1st night I said no longer active and they hung up right away. 2nd night I told them to take me off list and that i thought they were fraud and she kept trying to give me the same scripted speech over and over.

I asked to speak to a supervisor.   They guy said "may I ask what the problem is".  He was claiming to call about Diabetes.  I said I don't have diabetes and want my name taken off this list.  I could hear him hand the phone to someone and when I asked the "supervisor" if he was really a supervisor he said "why, don't you believe me?"  I said that I highly doubt a supervisor would be sitting right there.  Then he told me "do not call me again, I was sleeping".  I said "WHAT?"  and he repeated it.  Some kind of scam going on, for sure!

Harr***ed regularly We keep receiving calls from this number. No one answers when we pick up. The name on the caller ID is Philip David B. When we try to call it back, the number is not in service to receive calls. Wish there was a way to block this caller.

One Angry Woman Today this woman called for my grandmother with Alheimer's. I am her caregiver but she usually gets the phone and knows the callers, she is in the early stages. I answered and asked if I could ask who was calling and this woman replid "No." I said, "Well She is unavailable so can I take a message?" She said "No." and hung up on me. I realized she has been calling for days!!!! Thank god grandma hangs up on everyone and can hardley hear anyone. I tried to call back but they have a block.

disgusted This person calls at various times during the day andgreets me with a friendly voice as if they are my longlost friend. I have told them on numerous occasions thatI am not interested in what they have to offer. This isone of many numbers from this area code that has calledwith the same approach over the past 6 to 9 months. Cannot redial / callback number to see who(m) it might be.  Called at 5:50am (PST) aarrgghh...so who took the money from the telemarketing/congress passed law.  I know, the people we elected in office, silly me.

Received some bomb threat from this caller.  Today is Sept 28, 2010 at around 4 pm, CAlifornia Time.  The company name that appeared on our caller ID is:  DENBIGH ON.

waste of time these telemarketers..best to not shake the hornets nest,don't pickup at all and after a few (days or weeks depending on a**hole's patience) they will drop you and play with someone else..these are the bottom feeders that gives legit telemarketers who follow rules a bad name..also, if you are with verizon, i think there's a way to block the calls by punching in some # and numbercodes...

I keep getting repeat calls. I finally said "TAKE ME OFF OF YOUR [expletive] LIST" and then got a call back where some foreign sounding woman said "f*** you." Now they call repeatedly, the same woman, with threats.

I am experiencing what I consider phone harassment.  This is not a company wanting to sell me something, it is a opinion survey company.  This is what is happening…For the last three weeks I have been receiving phone calls requesting my opinion from this company.  I tell them I am registered with the Texas do not call and the Federal do not call, and I understand that this does not include opinion surveys or research companies, but I do not want to receive any more phone calls from them, and to take my name off their list.  Just this week , for the last three days I have received their calls.  In fact, today when I told them to take my name off their list they proceeded to call me FOUR MORE TIMES ... calling then hanging up with lots of laughing and giggling in the background!  I am handicapped and it is quite difficult for me to get to the phone.   It seems to be a bunch of kids working for this company and they seem to think this is quite funny.  I have asked to speak to a supervisor, and she told me they could call because there was no law saying opinion survey companies were not restricted by the do not call laws, and she refused to give me the name of the company, or her name or the real telephone number.  They are using 555-123-4567 which is the phone number what shows up on my caller ID, and there is only "No Name Found" for the company name.  I tried to use my call blocker and this did not work.  I contacted the AT&T phone company and basically they told me there is nothing they can do... call blocker won't work with this fake telephone number, nor will *69.  They suggested that I contact the FCC and the state of Texas.  I did hear back from Texas and they requested that I contact the Texas Attorney General.  Today I started receiving calls from 613-333-4567.  From other email complaints I found when researching the number on the internet, it is indicated that the company name is RK West (602) 841-E Cactus Rd Phoenix, AZ 85032. However when I called the 613-841-2801 it was a suburban housewife and she is unaware of any of this.Can you please help me?  I just don't need this stress, and I imagine I am not the only person experiencing this.  This seems to be a most unethical business practice.

I got a call from this number 1-613-333-4567 yesterday.   My machine picked up the call and after a few seconds a male (sounded like a teen) said "Hello".   I picked it up but he had hung up and I assumed he dialed the wrong number.

At first I told Caller I was on the Do Not Call List. Caller claimed to have something to do with Medicare and diabetes in the household. I hung up when they asked for my Medicare number thinking if it was legitimate they would know that information.
