They phone and **** up ? This has happened (8) times last few weeks.

(613) 482-0406 keeps calling and ****ing up ?Who is this....

Donated once and now every year at this time they won't leave me alone. Sofa king annoying!!!

They also call at my house everyday. Usually around 12:10, but today was an exception because it rang at 9:25. Sometimes its dead at the other end of the line and sometimes theirs somebody asking to speak with *name*. I asked them to stop calling, but they keep persisting.

I got a call from them tonight too - I don't think they are legit.

They called yes****ay. Asking for Mr. so and so .... when I asked who  was calling, they refused to identify themselves and kept asking me who I was. As I kept asking them back the question, the gentleman ***g up. How rude to think I should identify myself when they don't even have the courtesy of identifying themselves! After all, they're call my house!

They left a message calling my name and next time call, "Hello,*****o". Usually telemarketer didn't leave a message, but these people look so aggressive.

I went to a Magic Show in Decemeber  called Miracles N Magic, which was put on by a company called Zentel and the money raised went to the Ottawa Firefighter****ociation. Some how they have passed my number on because now I am getting calls from this number and they would like me to go to other events and buy tickets to help charities. I think it is a legit phone number but the calls are annoying.

Ottawa Firefighters and Ottawa Police****ociation and other similar names that include the phrases  Firefighters  and  Police  are used to sell products that the caller claims are charity related.  I have read several newspaper reports and articles and then talked to two of them and I have concluded the newspaper reports were correct.  These are businesses disguising themselves as charitable organizations (however, they do not give you a charity receipt as they are neither a charitable organization, nor a not-for-profit). They they are businesses that want to make money out of people who think they are helping charities).   Just **** up on them.  The only charity here is the poor low paid caller who makes minimumwage, or even less than minimum wage to call people. They are probablyon comission, and if you buy so****ing, a very small fraction of what you pay goes to the caller to keep him off the welfare roll.

Got 3 calls from them today, every time I answered the phone, it was just a **** up, no one on the other end of the line. Have called the toll free number and added myself to the do not call list.

Added my number to their do-not-call list and for a few months they stopped calling.  They have recently returned.  Went through the process a***n of adding my number to their do-not-call list.  We will see what happens.

Called this number, heard that it was Ottawa Firefighters, the recording said to call 1-800-379-2116 for more information.  Calling this number and pushing 9 and then 1 gave me a promise to be added to a "do not call" list.  I don't know if it will work.
