I got a call from the same number, and called back 613-737-8899 with extention. But they don't know why they did call me. I was scared as it was calling from Hospital....

Just got the same experience as others.  Received a call on my cell at 7:30 a.m., March 8, 2010 from 613-737-8898  but no message.

As stated in an earlier e-mail, this is a number used by the Ottawa General Hospital for "out-going calls only" (you cannot call back at this number). It is a general number used by all staff at the hospital for out-going calls (ie. not just for MRI).

Yup, it's the Ottawa General Hospital... but not specifically MRIs, my girlfriend works there (but nowhere near radiology) and just called me via this number. It's cool.

It is a general number for outgoing calls from the general hospital in Ottawa. surgeon or mri or admin clerk will call from this number througout the whole complex.

This IS the Ottawa Hospital, though I don't know if it specifically has to do with MRIs.

yeah you theory of mri its bogus im 23 and my gf is 20 we have no mri or what so ever we are perfectly healthy so why the @#&$% would a mri computer call me for an apointment ???? id still love it if hed call on my phone or when im around to give him a piece of my mind

this is the ottawa general hospital MRI appointment notification that your MRI appointment is ready for you. You have 24 hours notice that you may get another call at which time you are to leave immediately or loose your appointment at which time you are bounced at the back of the line for ANOTHER YEAR unless you die of cancer while you are waiting for the D*** MRI scan.An yes this is an outgoing number only. You cannon call back for the computer appointments call you.

Just received a call from this number on my cell January 9, 2009 14:49 EDT.  It was 8 seconds of heavy breathing.  What a nuisance.
