Belleville, Maple St.

Called this morning.  Typical telemarketer pause before answering.Said he was from Stephen Harper's conservative office (in Newfoundland!!), that the address on my polling card was incorrect and that I should go somewhere else in the city (Epworth Avenue) to vote.  Also gave me a number to call to confirm which turns out to be the Nepean West Conservative party office number (I didn't call it).  Gave his name as Ben Galway.I have called my local Elections Ca***a office who have confirmed this was bogus, obviously, and the address on my polling card is correct.Very strange.

duh.... I have seen this number pop up on various sites as one that is a telemarketer or fraud.  It's actually a legit company- NCO finacial.  If people are getting this call, it's because you have so****ing in collection (e.g., credit card, student loan, other outstanding bills). So really....as annoying as they may be.....they're just trying to get money back.  Guess you can only outrun collection for so long before stepping up to the plate and paying back what you owe (and be penalized with an insanely high interest rate!)
