Have been calling daily, as many as 9 times per day, for several weeks. Has never left message. Spam calls to my phone number are blocked by "Mr. Number" (Android app) and "Google Voice", so these s***bags are only wasting their own time. ;-)

I suspect this is a skip tracer/collections agency looking for a relative of mine. Anyone actually answer this number?

someone for discover offering me a discount? s****s calling at 8:01am, calls every hour until 9:59pm EVERY DAY, including weekends. it's not even for me, i've told them to put on do not call list but she keeps calling! for 3 weeks now, same girl!

they call my work line 6 or 7 time a day, no one answers, they just disconnect.

They call my cell 5 or more times a day for more than 8 weeks now. they do not leave a message only some times I can hear some laughing and background noise of several people they will sometimes say my first name. i have a discover card but i have not used it for a year or more and have no late payment problem.

This number calls my phone day and night, up to six times a day. They never leave a message so I'm not sure who they are. I'm just tired of them calling and leaving no messages.

do not respond to these phone calls.  I am not sure what is going on but they are constantly calling.  I  do not have a Discover Card and have never been late with  payments of any kind.  I would like to be removed from this list but I am already on a do not call list.  I wish I knew how they got my number.

These people really need to stop. Just s****ed getting these calls, i have never had a discover card. Are they a credit card or are they collection agency? Either way i dont want one and im not late on any bills.

Messages left by this number are Definitely disconcerting.  The guy on the regular customer service line was totally flummoxed by the question, "Could this be Phishing?"  It'd be a great scam, though, perhaps tough to get away with, since you actually have to verify iden***y to get an 800 number, I'd****ume...

Calling me and say i have a 1,700 debt? I haven't use Discovery call years, So i tol the person on the phone i will call Discovery myself. Call Discovery hotline and they stated i don't have any debt. This call is FAULT!!

I have found out how they get our unlisted and unpublished numbers.  They have computers that dial random sequential telephone numbers, they dial each number, I mean each and every possible combination, in the hopes that some will be actual working lines, and that someone will answer the call.  It is a way of getting around the do not call list - it is imm**** and unethical and an invasion of privacy and, more often than not, causes alarm for those who have not shared their telephone numbers.  It is a racket and needs to be addressed by those who are supposed to uphold the law.  I asked one of them how they got my cell phone number, they told me that I called them and responded, and I said, "no, I didn't, YOU called ME with a recording of some sort."  Since they took such great lengths to inconvenience me, I was checking the phone number on the internet, and reading then what others have posted about this "company".  The excuses this poor guy came up with, you just wouldn't believe. 614-283-1*** called, I answered, no one on the other end of the line.  ***g up automatically, then sends me a text telling me a payment is due for an account with a phone company that I don't have.

This is Discover. They have called my number three or four times a week for about three months. I called them twice to explain their automated message was driving me nuts as I've never had a card from them. It made no difference and the calls kept coming. I called a***n to ask them to remove my number as I have no account with them. The rude little ******* the end told me it was their "right" to collect debts. Having already told them I've never had a card (nor likely to now) and got angry with her. Still the calls come and, every time, I file a copmplaint at donotcall.gov.

I have received over 25 calls from this number in the last 8 days.  If I answer I get silence or a recording.  If I don't annswer, most times they do not leave a message; if they do it is to call an 866 number. I have complained to the FTC and to the Colorado Do NOt Call Registry. ----- I am the only one who lives at my number;  I do not have, and never have had, and hope never to have a Discover Card!!!  This is harassment.

It is Discover!  I have my payment automaticatly taken out of my checking but because the payment was $19 short of the minmum payment they called not once but twice within less than a minute of each call and left a message on the first call that I did not pick up as I was checking here to see who it was they called a***n and I picked up because I knew they had already received their payment!!!!  OK it was my fault but a message and 2 phone calls within less than a minute for $19!!!  COME ON!!!!!!!  The woman did say so****ing about a late fee but after I threw a fit about that she said it had not been applied yet and she would not charge me for making the $19 payment right then and there!  We'll see what shows up on the statement!!!!

I do not even have a Discover Card, never did, and I still received a call from them on my cell.  I did call them back and they said that they did not even have me in their system.  My cell number is only used by family, so I am unsure how a credit card company that I have never used received my cell number that is only used by immediate family.

Discover Card call.  Pretending the call is "to update their records."  Real reason was biling/collections department tried to get me to set up autdraft payments to them with promise of lower interest rate immediately and after 6 months an even lower rate.  Wouldn't give me lower rate unless I agreed to it.  Been customer since 1994 and until this past year have paid my account down to almost zero several times and had auto draft payments.  Having difficult time right now and asked for consideration for lower interest rate and they refused.

Actually, I DO pay my bills - they still call me 3 or 4 times a day.  My account is not past due, it is not over the limit, etc ... and still the calls keep coming.  They even call my cell phone - a number that I have not provided to them.  If I slip and answer, then I get charged usage for their harassment.  Not cool.  I am calling today to complain.

I received a call from 614-283-1*** during class on my cell, I did not answer it.  They called back later that day.  Upon answering, they requested to speak with someone not****ociated with my cell phone.  After I requested them not to call me a***n, they called back the next morning.I have no accounts with Discover.

They are calling to collect their money from someone in your household. If you dont want them to call you THEN PAY YOUR BILLS.

I get an automated message that just wants me to call 866-516-7676.  I didn't know till now who it was.  I figured, if they couldn't give a reason as to what they wanted, I didn't care about them.  The problem is, they keep calling.I still don't care what they have to say if they can't leave a decent message but I do want them to stop until they can explain what they want.

I just called the number back and told them to stop calling me. They thought it was the number of someone else and I've had my phone number for 5 years... But they were at least very friendly about taking my number out of their system.
