I called the number back as well just out of curiosity and it was indeed Verizon.  I talked to a very helpful guy for about 2-3 min and it was basically a courtesy call.  He wanted to offer me a promotion to extend my contract for 1 additional year and they'd take $80 off the price and to see that I was happy with their service. It was pretty much for customer's whos contracts are about to end.  I had just renewed my contract 2 months ago, so instead he just took $80 off my next bill.  I just got back ******cks on that 2-3 min phone call.....to think I almost didn't call at all.  He was friendly as well.

This number calls often, but never leave an answer.  When I pick up, no one is there!W***ver they are, I which they would STOP!

I also got a call from them, so I did a carrier lookup and it said it was AT&T. I find it hard to believe that Verizon is on a compe***or's carrier.

I just received a call from this number and called it back.  They said they were Verizon calling to do an overview of my services to make sure I was on the best plan and that I was happy with my phones (I have 5).  I told them I love my plan and have a grand***hered plan that is cheaper than others that are available now and all the phones are working great.  She did not push sales or try to get me to c****e plans.  Just said thank you for calling.

It is Verizon. I called the company to make sure the person who called me from this number wasn't a scam, and sure enough it is legit.

I keep getting calls from this number, but I do not answer  I figure if I don't recognize the number it must not be anyone I really need to talk with.  They never leave a message, so it can't be that important.

I think it's a fraud number who claims that they are verizon. I accepted the plan they recommended and it never realized. Then from an unavailable number called a***n from "Verizon" saying that I owed a $130 bill but I already paid the bill. Very creepy.
