Fraud victim Got an unsolicited call from someone named "David Duke", who is allegedly a paralegal working for a Boston firm called Legal Advocate ***istanc (which doesn't exist.). As with other comments/complaints on the Been Verified site,, he knew some facts about a Mexican fraud scheme that stole a large amount of money from me in 2019.and claimed that he could ***ist in tracking the fraudster. He cited an Austin, TX attorney as the instigator or the suit, but that claim is also bogus.In short, this caller is also a fraudster, somehow tuned into the original fraud, and trying to "reload" it by further scamming. These callers are well trained to play on victim's fear of further legal damages from alleged accounts created in Mexico. Stay away from having anything to do with these ruthless criminals!!!!!!

They claimed they are working with the government and law enforcement against timeshare fraud.

Offering legal ***istance to help recover money we lost when we were scammed several years ago. We learned our lesson the hard way. Don’t fall for these losers. They sounded legit but website is fake and lawyer’s name they used was used fraudulently.

Started off with a text that said "Hi". I didn't recognize the number, and since it's identified as a landline, they shouldn't be able to text. ***uming the number has been "hijacked".

VERY DANGEROUS Scam. Attempts to record your voice saying 'yes' to an innocuous question, like 'Can you hear me?', then inserts that into another recording to make it look like you agreed to buy something from them. Will place charges on your phone bill. DO NOT SPEAK to robots who cold call you!

According to others online, trying all different scams from this same number: Home Security System, Car Warranty, Debt Collection, Vacations. BEWARE of answering ANY questions: they RECORD you and use it to claim you agreed to PAY for something.

For a couple of weeks now I have been receiving phone calls asking us to call as soon as possible. There are several different numbers coming from different states all with the same voice and message. The numbers all have unavailable info.

I'm on the "Do Not Call" list, so if they call again, I'm reporting them AND I encourage all who are also on the "Do Not Call" list to PLEASE report them as well! The penalty for calling people on that list can lead to fines of up to $10,000.
