I too have received several phone calls both on my cell phone and at my job from someone with a heavily foreign accent stating that I am the primary suspect in a criminal federal case in my state.  Whenever I ask them what the case is about or who they are trying to collect money for, they are very evasive and try to elicit other information from me, the most recent time was the name of my attorney.  I have yelled at these people to stop calling me and all they do is consistently call back on an hourly sometimes minute basis and harass me about my language or my professionalism...one of them even laughed and told me he loved me and made "kissing" noises on the phone.  I know it is the same person or persons.  I reported them finally to the FBI's IC3 unit and hopefully this nonsense will stop.  DO NOT GIVE IN TO THESE PEOPLE AND GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION WHATSOEVER.  ODDS ARE THEY PROBABLY HAVE A TON OF INFORMATION ON YOU ANYWAY.  CALL YOUR BANKS AND PUT AN ALERT ON YOUR ACCOUNT SO THEY CANNOT HAVE ACCESS TO THEM AS WELL.

They are a total scam, I told them I had notified, the Attorney General in California and Florida, The California Bar****ociation , as well as local and federal investigators, the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau. I also told them that I would have federal and state charges brought on them. I have had no calls since then.

this happened to me yes****ay but the name was Shawn michaels and was really scary in threating a lawsuit. The number that came for me was 619-947-7322

There is a guy who keeps calling me from this number threatning me. He says he is with the Federal Credit Law Firm and that I was being sued and had federal fraud charges a***nst me in California. His name was  Joe Meyers and could not speak good English. He first called me on Friday and told me that I needed to appear in court in California on Monday with an attorney. He told me it would cost over $5000.00 but if I wanted to settle I could by paying them 3 payments, the first of $200, second of $200, and the third of $470. If I was being sued in California would I not have gotten a summons from them in person or in the mail? He continues to call so I am glad I found this information so I can let him know this is a scam.I almost fell for it because I faxed him a letter with a copy of my drivers license and a pre-paid credit card number that I don't have any money on. He said I now need to fax a notarized letter with the same information to 714-333-3058 so this matter can be cleared up.

Scam Scam Scam , I made complaint to FBI they will be going to Jail I received Several MSG and Spoken with a guy, who's name Eric bla bla bla . Harrasing me to pay the pay day loan. Dont believe them .. Its totally scam.Ask for Paper work.They will ***g the call. Its totally scam.

Total Scam.  Told me that I owed money for a payday loan.  Wanted attorney information.  I told him that I have never had a payday loan and he s****ed threatening me with prosecution and told me that the authorities would be there to arrest me soon.  I laughed at him and told him that this was a scam and that this call was being recorded and he ***g up the phone.

RECEIVED HARASSING CALLS AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT FROM THIS COMPANY TELLING ME CRIMINAL CHARGES WERE BEING PLACED ON ME IN CA FOR A PAYDAY LOAN I TOOK OUT WITH FIRST CASH INTERNATIONAL. I TOLD CO THAT I FILED BK AND IT WAS COVERED AND HE SAID THAT IT WASNT AND I COULD BE PROSECUTED. HE ASKED FOR MY ATTORNEY INFO AND WHEN I SAID I DIDNT HAVE ONE ASKED IF HE COULD SEND ME THE SUMMONS. I SAID WHATEVER, JUST DO NOT CALL ME A***N OR I WILL SUE YOU FOR HARASSMENT. THEN HE TRIED QUICKLY TO GET OFF THE PHONE. HE LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES ON MY WORK VM AND CALLED BACK TO BACK AND ON THE LAST MSG STATED "THIS IS A TIME SENSITIVE MATTER AND IF YOU DO NOT CALL BACK, ALL I CAN SAY IS GOOD LUCK AS THIS SITUATION UNFOLDS AROUND YOU". I REPORTED WITH FTC

Well I got the call also, It is from a so called Federal Credit Dept.  told me they had a lawsuit on me for fraud, theft, and so****ing else for a payday load with First Cash Internationals that I never had. I wouldn't worry about it if I was you.

Any clue where this is from?
