I keep getting calls from this number but no one answers when i pick up the phone. I want the calls to stop, how can I do this?

i see this number alot - today my husband answered it and they asked to speak to the person who pays the gas bill. since he doesnt like dealing with bills and i do, he asked them to **** on a minute and came and got me. when i picked up the phone i said*****o numerous times and then i got a dial tone.They ***g up! I said oh well it isnt the gas company because i just paid the bill and it wasnt over due. It must be a scam of some sort. now that i see all your replies, i will never answer it, or simply tell them whatever they are selling i am not interested.

Let them know that what they are doing is not going to help their business any. all they are managing to do is really make people mad.

Just called this number back and got "AGR Group this is Liz speaking how may I help you".... so they are still in business. BEWARE of scams.Caller ID: 16232386208Caller: AGR GROUP!!!

This number called pretending to be the bank of Nova Scotia asking for my wife. When I checked the number on Google, it turned out to be an Energy Provider number.

We are trying to quite the baby and this number calls repeat times, yet ***ody says anything.I am not going to call Long Distance to find out why.Can they be stopped

another way to stop the calls is to add   " 3 tone sit " at the beginning of your answering ma****e message this tells the auto dialer that the number is no longer in service     you can goggle it and download it for free   i was getting 3 calls a day for over a week i added the tone to my ma****e and they only called back once then the calls stopped       hope this help out

Well, there's not much I can add here. Seems to be a pretty popular complaint with this number. Any results from "Bob" above regarding Bell?

this company has been calling me for the past 3 weeks 2 times a day and each time there is no one speaking on the other end, it's just dead air.I returned the call and it is actually a gas and hydro company looking for us to lock in our pricing. I told them I am sick of the harassing call's and to take my name off the auto-dial list. The lady on the phone said it will take 24 hr for the cancellation to take affect,

I think the gas co. information may be right. I could hear a voice replying to someone else in the background ' I don't need anything from her. I have her gas receipt.', but no msg. was left for me.

Same harassing calls several times a week. I will try Mike's suggestion of confusing the auto dialer.

im unlisted how the***** do they get my number?? ill have Bell investigate asap and charges appllied through the legal system.

This number called our home phone March 5 2008 9:16am***ody left a message.

Put them on call screen or buy the Te***apper (it drops all telemarketing calls)

If you want to confuse the autodialer - input random dtmf digits from your keypad. A bunch of random digits, as soon as you pick up - if there is no voice immediately - the auto dialer is transferring to a live attendant. Prior to this, hit the keys, the autodialer becomes confused and should mark this called number as failed - the server should remove your valid phone number from it's call list. I never give my cell number to anyone other than family and friends, but somehow my number occasionally gets picked for solicitation. This seems to clear it up for a period of time.

They call me regularly, a few days at a time, sometimes multiple call per day. I do have natural gas, so maybe that is why they keep trying. I never answer.

I got severals calls from that number. I never responded because I don't know that number and I usually let the phone ring and if they really want to talk to me they would have left a message... But they didn't...Then I know it's telemarketing...

I AM GETTING HARRASSED BY THIS NUMBER ALL THE TIME AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK AND THEY SIT ON THE PHONE AND SAY NOTHING AND SOMETIMES I GET MUMBLING. AS well as repeated ****ups from this phone number, with the caller staying on the line until the outgoing voicemessage ends, then mumbling so****ing then ****ing up.

I get get two calls a week from this 6232386208.

I called it back.  They're trying to sell protection plans for hydro and gas.

from what i found on other sites its gas related company from arizona, and a computer driven dialer. dont give them any info just tell them you dont use natural gas.

I'm in Toronto, this number called my cell phone approximately 11;20 am January 7,2007. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.I don't have a landline.
