Received a call from this number, caller ID says Desert Valley Aire. Over the past couple of years we have received a number of calls from this company. Back when we used to take the calls, I reminded them that as we've never done business with them, federal law prohibits them from cold-calling us. Each time they promised they would add us to their Do Not Call list, and each time they obviously lied about doing it as they called us back the following Spring or Fall. So for a while we just ignored the calls. But tonight they called a***n and I was in the mood to chew someone out, so I answered. The caller told me her name was Zora, and I began politely and calmly chewing her out. She ***g up on me. Feeling feisty, I called the number back. They answered with a dull "Hello?". It could have been either a call center or someone's home, as I could hear people and noise in the background. I asked to speak to Zora, and when she got on the line, I reminded her who I was, and that she had ***g up on me. I asked for her last name, which she refused to give me, saying everyone there knew who she was. I told her the people I was planning to call about her weren't familiar with her yet, and would want her full name. She said she wasn't going to give me that information, told me to have a nice night, and ***g up on me a***n.
Received several calls from this number over the past week or so. They never leave a messsage and call at various times of the day and early evening. Through reverse phone number lookups and information gleaned from sites like this, I have conclusively determined that this is, indeed, Desert Valley Aire in Glendale, AZ. A professional receptionist answered when I called the number. I told her I was receiving calls from the number I reached her through and wanted them to stop; she apologized, took down my number and said she would be sure to inform the marketing department. I told her she should further inform that department that I live in apartment and would never have need to call them anyway.Only time will tell if they actually follow through. Obviously there are some interesting *****s and loopholes in the Do Not Call Registry structure.
