My brother has asked for a refund because the company charged his credit card after he had told them that he couldn't afford to do this for two more weeks and asked them to call him back at that time. he is on disability and the $800 cdn that was charged to his credit card is over half of his monthly disability allowance. because of their actions, my brother is in a worse financial situation now than he was before they called. why won't they refund his money and accept the fact that he does not want to use their services?

We have a legit Do Not Call list that you can request to be put on, however the calls do not always stop immediately. If you call in Ca***a, you must adhere to Ca***ian laws. We have a do-not-call list that is available to you, and our law is that you may not call these numbers.Simply comply with our rules and stay off my back. (Please note; I did not say please!)
While it doesn't help keep them off my phone (cell, no less), I sure get a LOT of satisfaction:I keep a list of free, sign-up-here-and-we'll-call-you services (insurance quotes, MLM stuff, office supplies, etc). They sure come in handy.When one of these lowlifes refuses to stop calling, I google the number until I find the company name - usually on one of these lists. Then, I google the name until I find a physical address, reverse-search the address until I find a local number, and - voila - I have what I need to fill out all manner of 'call me' requests. Just choose a department and a name to go with the address and phone, and keep their landline busy until kingdom come, or they c****e their landline number.An alternative is to use their 800/866/877 numbers, because they get charged for EVERY incoming call on those things. It just doesn't look as legit as a local, landline number. But then, considering who we're dealing with here, it's all good.They may have s****ed this little game, but if we all do this - each and every time - they WILL find another game to play. :)

Just like the phone call I get every single say, with the same message....this is your last and final phone call on the warranty on your car. It is wrong to put the fear in people that it is true and that is when people do go and speak to them and some people would get conned. It is just wrong and I believe these national call lists are not there to help us but to just keep tabs on people.I think it is about time that home phones go to the bin, mind you I have been getting telemarkets on my cell phone as well. I know a few people who work for this company. I know you people getting called get frustrated with the calls but the people who work for them have nothing to do with the calls you get. An automated system sends the calls out and when you press one it sends the calls to them at the call center. The more you yell and cuss and are rude to them the less likely it is for them to want to help you. They are licensed to call in ca***a because they are working with visa, master card and american express, which are american companies and they have contracts with all three companys and since the LOVELY people of ca***a have those cards they do have the right to call and work with them or else they would have been closed down from the many people who think they can call the cops on them or sue them. They have saved people thousands of dollars from their credit card debt and every person who works for them has a liscense to do what they do. There are repe***ive nuisance calls from this number supposedly about a credit problem.
