spoke with comed this morning and they are aware of this guy trying to scam people. they suggested calling the attorney general to file complaint. what BS.
called me at 7pm and asked me to go to 7 eleven store and get green dot money pack to pay past due comed bill. said his name was brian. i called comed automated system and our bill is current. big scam.
Called at 8:30pm and told us we have a past due bill and was going to cut the power off at midnight. Wanted banking info so they could stop the shut off. I have famliy that works for ComEd, they dont cut power at night.
