Anonymous Called, it looked like another friend's number and I was distracted, so answered. They ***g up. Creepy AF. "Scam Likely" was correct this time. :(

Thank you to the poster above for sharing this info, it will help others. I hope you filed a police report so that police are aware this scam is going around and maybe they can raise awareness. I reported the ph numbers and hopefully those will be shut down soon.

I found out this phone number comes out of Central Islip.THIS TIME,they actually left a message on my answering ma****e. First they used the name "john" which is not my first name.So they got that wrong, and they wanted to thank me for continued support of so****ing called the La Brie Indian Orphans in the midwest. There is a catholic american indian of that nature and location, but there has been no known representative of that organization resident in New York or on Long Island. So this phone number emanating out of Central Islip Long Island is SUSPECT.I will not accept any phone calls from anyone asking me for financial support. We have enough pverty ob long island itself,and there are realistic organizations that are handling the problem worthy of support.
