I have been receiving messages from an unknown number for weeks.  They leave a message telling me that it is regarding a very serious legal matter, and to have myself or my lawyer call them back.  They also state that if I do not return the call, that "they can only wish me the best of luck with your case".  They do leave a callback number of               631-409-8016         631-409-8016.  So I did my research online to find out that these are scammers who tell you that you owe on a prior payday loan that you never repaid.  They then demand that if you don't immediately wire money, that the police are going to come to your house in the morning to arrest you.  I myself never took out a payday loan, but during some hard times last spring, I inquired about a few and was pre-approved online...  I never actually took one out, but I did give a little information when I was being pre-approved which is I'm sure where they stole my info from.  Anyhow, I called the "call center" and get a lady who calls herself Kathy.  She informed me that she could not transfer me to a representative, and that she would have to have someone call me back... undoubtedly so they can block the number and protect their filthy ****s...  I asked her what company this was.  She told me Lanphier &****ociates Lawfirm.  I looked up this company, and called them...  they told me they have received ***dreds of calls from other people and that they have nothing to do with debt collections.  They told me these other people were a scam and not to give them any information...Finally, I got someone from this fake company to call me back.  I got a man who called himself Jeff Moss, but had an extremely exaggerated Indian accent.  I asked him a***n to tell me the name of the company I was being called from.  This time he said he was calling from "Crime Monitoring Services".  I said, "Well I am confused because the lady I spoke with before said this was Lanphier &****ociates Lawfirm".  He said, "Well we are umm working under an umbrella of that company."  So I immediately told him that he was full of bologna and that I had called Lanphier &****ociates who told me that he is not****ociated with them at all.  I told him that he was a scammer trying to steal peoples money.  He said, "When did I ask you for money?"  I said, you were just about to weren't you?  He got really mad and told me that he was just calling as a courtesy to warn me... and then he eventually s****ed muttering and ***g up the call.  I guess he wanted to warn me about the fake police that were coming to arrest me for this fake debt.  What a loser!!!!

I received a call from this number as well at my place of business, from a Stacey Wilson.  She claimed that I made an online cash advance in the amount of $500 and owed them $1,250 and if I did not pay, they would take me to court along with my references.  It bothered me because they had a lot of my personal information. How can this be STOPPED????

i got a call today she told me i made a online cash advance online for $500.00 and that the CRIME MONITOR DIVISION was coming to arrest me if i didn't pay $500.00 today by debit card had me scared for a sec..... these people are crazy who are they!!!!
