This number calls our business three times a day. The people they are looking for don't work here nor do they 'live' here. 'Carrie' said she would get the calls stopped so now they just **** up. You can't call them back to get it stopped, the numbers don't work.
It's CitiMortgage, however I have no mortgage or credit. Call 4 times a day. I called back, went through 20 minutes of people and when finally asked to speak to a manager I was ***g up on. If I could call these people every hour of the day at home with an automated ma****e I would.
CitiMortgage has been calling for someone who is not, and never has been, at my number several times a day for several weeks now. Despite telling them that they have the wrong number every time they call, and several calls and a fax to CitiMortgage, the calls continue.
Same thing here. I just refinanced with CitiMortgage because they helf my previous loan. It was a DISASTER and now they are calling me and haning up from this number. They also called my HR Director who's number I used on my application. Isn't this A BREECH OF SECURITY....I called them and they won't confirm the calls are from them but then they say if I make a payment (of which I am in the grace period as I have always paid in the last 4 years) the calls will stop. I am going to have to file a complaint because this is haras*****t!
Try this number - 800-723-7906 - this will get you through to a live person at CitiMortgage Collections Dept. They can do a search for your number to see if it is in their system, I know this for fact because I used to work there. And they can remove your number on the spot. It will take 24-48 hours before the number will completely drop out of the system. Hope this helps.
I pay my mortgage payment every month within the grace period! I have never been late! They call up to 6 times a day and most the time you answer, there is no one there! I made my payment online yes****ay instead of mailing it this month so they would stop calling and they are still calling today!I am so fed up!

If you are the victim via a cell phone, put the number on the reject list of the phone, not the company. If it is with the company, it is only probable verification & they will call you more. I have been recieving numerous calls for citimortgage daily(between 5 and 10 calls a day. ***ody is home during the day so the calls go unanswered. When I get home I answer the phone but no one is on the other end. After a minute or so I get a busy signal. These calls have taken place as late as 10:30 at night.

day 2 of this....we have a line of credit thru citi, that was mailed late this month, we are still in the grace period. (our mortgage is with another company). so....citimortgage calls yes****ay, picked up--no answer....went dead. called a***n a couple hours later, same thing---dead. when i s**** to think about it, i realize the equity payment was missed...so call the # on the bill, tell them payment is on the way. 3 hours later, i got another call from citimortgage, picked up, no one there---went dead. i do not have a problem getting one courtesy call, what i do not understand is why they do not have a live person or a decent recorded message to say--ooops, you must have forgotten your payment!! why do they just put all of us on this rotating ringing system that makes no sense? to frighten us? no---calling multiple times a day...sa****ay, sunday is annoying and makes us mad. harrass us when we are really actually LATE by so many days...not in our grace period. don't they understand the economy ****s and people are having money issues....and ****mizing our grace periods. don't give us grace periods if you are going to add to the anxiety with constant calls. i mean, technically---to call and not have anyone there--isn't that harrassment? ANYWAY----i call this 636 number back, the recording gives another number to call. the first 3X I called, get get disconnected at the point i get ahold of a live person. finally, the 4th time, they want my SS#...and i refuse to give it. i ask if they can search by my telephone number....they find nothing on file?? i mention the equity loan, and she tries to look it up....got nothing. their systems and systems management are really bad. so...i guess i just wait until they receive my payment in order to be back in good standing. what more is there to do?
I don't think it's a scam. I didn't get the phone in time today, so I just googled the number. All the comments here say it's Citi Mortgage which makes sense since I mailed my house payment late this month. They must have been calling to verify that it was sent. If they're calling you and you have no business with Citi then they must have been given your number by someone not wanting Citi to be able to contact them.

Multiple call--usually 2 to 3 per day. We are on the do not call registry they are breakignthe law. we do zero business with citi mortage. Please boycott them as well. if they cant respect laws they cant have our business.
My Friends, It is a conspi**** from the phone companies to get us to waste our minutes and buy more. If you do not recognize the number or the ID is unfmamiliar or they leave no message, don't pick up of talk to these people. Don't call them back. Just delete them from your call records. My philosophy is that if I don't have any clue who they are, they will leave a message. If they don't, oh well for them, I'm not responding.
I've received 42 calls from this phone number in the last 2 weeks. My dad died 2 months ago and his house was mortgaged through Citi. We gave the house back to them, no strings attached......except for these calls. Sundays at 7am, Mondays at 9pm. Basically whenever the computer wants to **** up on me when I say*****o. This number has been calling our house multiple times each days for a few months. At least I get someone on the other line when I yell at them. I constantly keep getting a call from 636-261-2484 on my cell phone and the I finally got to speak to a Citi Bank representative. She asked for a particular person and I told her that this was no longer that persons #. She stated that they would no longer call me back. Well, I still keep getting calls from that 636 #. Today I called Citi Bank customer service at 1-800-283-7918 and they stated that they would take care of the proble and not call anymore. We shall see if Citi Bank customer service department sticks by their word!

They called my cellphone with an autodialer. 2nd time today I didn't take the call. I don't want to put my cellphone on the do-not-call list because if it's there, then the exempt telemarketers (i.e. so-called "charities") will s**** calling it. CitiMortgage has been calling my celll phone at least 2-3 a day over the last several months. I have had calls on weekends and early in the morning. I do not have an account with Citimorgtage and I have told two of the live people that called during the week that I wanted them to stop calling me. If you do nothing and stay on the line an operator comes on and says they need your acct.#. When you tell them you don't have an acct. with them and to remove you from the list they say they cannot. This is an automated autodialing system that never has anyone on the phone and is very irritating. The most frustrating part is they are dialing my cell phone. My wife and I just spoke to another dep't of Citi this week and yet they continue to make calls to my cell #. Obviously, the customer service dep't at CitiMortgage doesn't communicate with other departments that are handling customer issues. Don't allow them to continue this practice unless they show some respect and knowledge of what they are doing!

Received a call from Jessika who immediately asked me to verify my information relating to a mortgage with CitiMortgage. I indicated that I was not willing to verify information since she had called me. When asked what the call was in reference to, she indicated that they were calling to verify that my March payment was received. Funny, in all my years of making mortgage payments, no one has ever thanked me. I have NO DOUBT THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM.
