Leave a CommentIt is real CitiMortgage but operated in bad manner even customer like me have been paying mortgage all the time. Using VOIP service, I put the number into disconnected status, then they call to my company to say "thank you for payment". But before this, they called without sound even on Sun Day early morning, when I fortunately blocked them already. Suggested you use VOIP service like www.callcentric.com to deal with this bad manner or de****able callers. I now put them into recording voice mail because they are real number.
I s****ed getting call from 636-261-9117 recently. The only thing I could tell was that it was coming from Citimortgage. The call were coming almost daily and at random times. The problem I have is that the call would never complete as the automated system would **** up and then just call back. I got frustrated with the calls and found this site on my search for the number. Then I realized why they were calling. My mortgage payment was not applied correctly and it was showing that the monthly payment was not made. I have contacted them to have this corrected (via a phone number I obtained when I logged into their site). However, my gripe is that the automated dialer needs to be fixed. If there are not enough agents to take the calls then they need to scale back the number of people they dial. Also, they have my email address on file. Had they sent me an email the problem would have be cleared up rather quickly. I think they need to fix the dialer. It seems to be broken to me. Also, email is probably a better reminder or first step. 'Dear customer,Our *broken* systems show that your mortgage payment for last month has not been received. Please contact us at 1-*******-**** or etc.'Calling customers and asking them to enter their SS# for some random automated system is probably not the best way to resolve the issue.
I will report this number to the Federal Trade Commission.
I work at Citi and if the automatic dialer calls you and asks for someone else, that isn't you, the best idea is to call us back at 18003748814 and give the agent your name, ask the agent to look up your phone number, then when the account is pulled up, and your name does not appear on the account, the agent can remove the name. ****ing up on us only makes us believe that you may be the loan holder and don't want to speak to us. Please remember we are not calling you, an automated dialer is (out of St Louis) and we are just doing our jobs. Believe me, there is nothing I like worse then when the dialer calls someone who is current or always makes there payments prior to the end of the grace period. I would also like to state that a lot of us really do care about our customers and I am one of those people.
Citimortgage is so hard up now a days... even if you are 1 day late they s**** hounding you...they say you have up to a certain date before a late charge..it's only a courteously...and they can take that away from you..as long as I make my payment each and every month ..you can't do anything to me!
Make your mortgage payment and the calls will stop. Pretty simple math.
"As a Citimortgage customer, I called and asked them did they originate the call; they said yes. The call is a advanced auto call reminding one to pay their monthly mortgage within the two week grace period. I think the calls are being used to nudge customers to pay a couple of days earlier. Legitimate, but borderline nuisance, especially if you have been paying on time." This is correct, as I've had the same experience. I call it harassment. I pay on time, why should they be calling me to tell me to pay early?
They have been calling me a couple times a day for about 4 months now. I would answer and choose the option for wrong number, I am thne given the number 1-800-374-8814 which is for account holders only. Dead end...until I tried Robs ****od of choosing to enter your social and just hitting 9 over and over. You have to go through this process three times to get to a representative. The rep put me on hold for nearly 20 minutes only to return to tell me I had to send a letter requesting a form that I would then have to fax back. Are you freaking kidding me.I asked to speak with someone else demanding immediate resolution, the representative finally took down the information, my number and the names they keep asking for and said she would try to get it resolved. I am not holding my breath. What a **** way to conduct business,***** if I will ever consider them for a morgage loan.

Citi Mortgage, calling for someone not me. Yes****ay the automated prompt led me to an option that said "If you think we dialed this number in error, press 2". So I did and figured that was that.Got 2 more calls today. Answered the second one as the person they were looking for. They requested the last 4 of he SSN. I hit "9999" until it put me through to an operator.Got through to Brian almost immediately, explained the problem. He said he'd remove my number from the listed account, very helpful and understanding. Problem solved. I hope.
Call several times a day and leave code# to call. I called Citi Mortgage Customer Service number and they don't know anything about the phone calls.

So eventually they will leave you alone, although its been nearly a week and these****holes still call four times a day (and on my husband's cell too) and leave voice mails. The BEST thing to do is if you see the Caller ID and its them, immediately answer the call and immediately disconnect to the call. **** up as soon as you pick it up.
when phone is answered some weird music is playing
So how do I get these frauds to stop leaving me voice mail messages! Should I be worried about iden***y fraud since we notifed our mortgage company via internet of a c****e of address and phone number recently?

This number has been calling me saying it's citimortgage - they said to call before March 25th regarding important information pertaining to our mortgage. They gave me a reference code - I called and they asked for the last 4 digits of my soc. I ***g up - I double checked our bank account and our mortgage/escrow payment went through on time so what could this be about? It freaks me out.
CitiMortageKeep asking for Troy Warren.I tell them they have the wrong number and **** up.Then they call the next day and ask for Troy Warren.
Caller ID shows name unknown. Caller lets the phone ring for nearly 2 minutes before giving up.
Computer voice said it was calling from Citi Mortgage regarding a c****e in my mortgage status, knew my name, asked for last four digits of social security. I ***g up.
