She said the samethings above - I asked her how she found me and she said wedding wire I am an officiant - then said she wanted to hire me and hang out with me.
She sounded like a he. Sa
Same as the other comments when I asked for information to verify he/she tried to change the subject. Very weird
Anonymous I'm a photographer and had run some ads. Renee contacted me via one of the ads on my business phone. She started off every sentence, "would you" be interested in.....offered me to be a fashion photographer. Wanted me to dress very formal to be involved. She wanted me to wear expensive clothing on a daily basis and even sent me photos of different formal attire. We talked about wearing high heels and silk hose. She wanted me to be her personal ***istant and do her makeup. She kept on offering me different amounts of money for a salary, first $225 thousand and then $325 thousand per year. She would fly me to photoshoots, offer me limo pick up, money for Neiman Marcus clothing, and a condo, even before she identified her business. I asked, and she said she owned a high-end modeling agency. She even asked me to mentor models to help them choose the proper clothing. It was all a very fast-paced conversation without giving me any accurate job description.
Same as the above comments. Asked me to do makeup. Sounded like a man pretending to be a woman. She did not really listen to what I as saying. After I told her that I would call her back she texted me. Definitely a scam.
Tried ordering a bunch of stuff
Anonymous 641 260 6370 - The scam comes from 48n yr old Renee. Her email is which is attached to the following names- Kevin Larson, Payton Larson, Shirley Larson & Asher Larsen This is how her emails start off " Im Renee im wanting to hire you as a bridesmaid " She doesnt sound that educated LOL
Anonymous Same scam, text providers asking to hire them for her bridal party, and she refuses to follow the booking directions. Its likely this woman is under the control of a pimp, and trying to recruit other women for them.
Wanted to hire me for makeup for her and be part of the bridal party. She would fly me out first cl*** and pay for my hair and makeup. Scammer texting me at 230am…smh
Said that I was beautiful and he/she wanted to marry me. Sent me four different of different women & said that were all her. Said she wanted to buy me gowns, pay for my nails & hair etc. Asked me to move to Iowa.
Yuppp...offered to pay me $1200 to "dress formal" & come do bridal makeup on a Wednesday. Asked me to be part of the wedding party. I informed them that as a professional, I am normally behind the scenes & not a bridesmaid
Called and asked if I would be a bridesmaid in their wedding. I said no, they asked if I could stand in for just a few hours. I said I did not feel comfortable with that and they hung up. Sounded like a male trying to talk like a female. Honestly, it was comical and I was tempted to call back for another laugh.
Asked if I could do her makeup for her wedding (I am an independent Mary Kay beauty consultant) and stand in as her matron of honor. The rest of the details are very similar to other reports. She offered to pay me to do her makeup every week, offered to buy gowns and shoes for me to wear in fashion shows, etc.
Said the same thing as everyone else noted. Looking for a makeup artist and asked if I would be an attendant at their wedding. I hung up as the caller sounded like a spam caller
Called and texted stating they own a model agency in Iowa City called Renee’s. Sent pic of herself (looks like a guy) saying she employees 350 people. Wanted to hire me for support, then stand w her for her wedding in Feb, then wanted to pay me $225,000 salary to be Personal ***istant. Then wanted to take me on ‘dates’ etc. keeps insisting we meet up last night then called before 8am today
The caller asked if I was a wedding planner and asked if I would serve as a bridesmaid in their wedding. I asked when and they said late February in DSM. Would not give clear details. He asked if I would continue if he paid for makeup, hair, and nails. I said no and he hung up on me.
Anonymous I am a wedding officiant. She said her name was Renee. Asked me to be a bridesmaid at her wedding. I asked why not her officiant? She wanted me to wear a long white dress with train and veil. Then agreed I should be her officiant but wanted me to wear same. Asked me to walk her down the aisle. Also asked me to be in a fashion show but had to date for such fashion show. Texted me pics of gowns she would buy me. Said she would have my hair and nails done for this and wedding. Doesn't have location for wedding. Asked if we would be friends! Would we go shopping, have lunch, go to the opera together? Decided to have interview with me. Didn't want to bring fiancée. Wanted to know what I would wear to the interview. Had enough and told her it wasn't a good fit.
I am a wedding officiant and the color wanted me to act as a bridesmaid in their wedding. They would pay for hair, makeup, nails and travel.
Anonymous Asked me to be their escort, stated they found my number on a site I have no profile on. Very creepy
Asked if I was a life coach. Wanted glamour makeup done. I said I didn’t do makeup. She/he asked if I would at least do makeup for a Galla. Wanted me to be personal stylist. I said I don’t do that kind of work. He made an appointment then hung up. Wondering if they can pull info from my phone while they kept me on the call????

This person said the same thing that is already stated from others. They said they were planning on doing it in Atlanta and when I said I don’t live there they asked if I would do it if they come to me. I stated I wasn’t interested and hung up. I only answered because they have called me at least 6-7 times and never leave a message.

Basically everything everyone else said he needs to go sell Tupperware or something because this isn’t working out for him lol
Caller said they were a high fashion model, looking for a life coach to work with and travel to fashion galas. Asked if I would wear an evening gown and heels, asked if I would let him pay to have my hair and nails done. When I asked for website address, said he would send it, he did not. Using name Rene Maerisse.
Caller claimed to be a fashion model with an upcoming show and needing emotional support. After asking her (sounded more like a high-pitched male voice) for more information, the caller asked if I would be willing to wear a long formal and high heels. I suspected this would soon turn obscene, so informed caller that "emotional support" was not my area of expertise and terminated the call.
Beware of spam from this number regarding an order. Don’t click any links.
'Woman' sounding like a man asked if I were a Stylist, wanted to hire me for high-end clothing shopping. Called on a Sunday (strange), said she/he learned of me online, yet asked for my name. I ended the call, as everything about it was suspicious.
Called my business asking me to do her makeup for her wedding day as well as arrive in formal dress, stay all day, and be in her wedding party. For $1,500.
Lies people scared to be hired to work
Asked me to speak and participate in a charity gala benefitting St. Jude. Wanted to know if I would feel comfortable wearing an evening gown and high heels, to walk in an auction, and speak at the event. Asked for my rate for the day. Wanted to meet in person to discuss more, and then came to my place of business twice.
Wanted to hire me to do their makeup for a wedding and wear a ball gown and 4-inch heels. Wanted to pay me $1200 which is what I charge and then wanted to retain me for weekly events for $5K. Sounded like a man trying to sound like a woman.
Kept offering to pay for a day at the spa - hair, face, massage, nails, etc. and wanted to buy me expensive clothes and wear 4-inch heels and do makeup for about 6 clients per day and be an executive assistant for 225k / per year, Texted me picture of a woman and wanted me to send them a picture of myself. (I didn't) Said that she/he got my number from my Mary Kay site.
woman who sounded like a man asking for makeup artistry services and to hire me as a model. She offered to pick me up in a limousine or to purchase for me a pearl Mercedes-Benz. She wanted to go shopping with me to purchase me the best clothing available and offered me a signing bonus. She claimed to be the owner of a high end modeling agency in East Orlando.
Wanted to hire me for wedding
Explicit names
Inquiring facial services with makeup and waxing, looking to become a regular client. Looked up the name on Caller ID and found this thread, with another one with a different number with the same stories
This man trying to sound like a woman asked to hire a model for a real wedding to be the real bridesmaid at $1,500. What a joke... Like who in their right mind???
I got a call from a "woman" who definitely sounded like a man. He/she wanted me to be his model and would dress me up in the finest clothes and shoes and take me to fancy galas. Honestly I couldn't follow what this person was even talking about so I ended the call. This person called back and left a blank voicemail. I was concerned because within the last two weeks I've had 4 people, who all ended up being the same person, try to scam my personal business.
This was a man impersonating a woman wanting to hire me for wedding makeup and pay an exuberant amount of money. And asked if I could do her makeup in heels and a ball gown. I looked up the name earlier and it turns out his name is Kevin Larsen and he’s from Grinell, IA.
Had a call from a "Renee" claimed to live in North Liberty. Wanted to know if I'd wear a formal gown with train and heels to do their wedding makeup. Also told me they'd pay me $5000 to be their bridesmaid after I asked how many they had and they said zero. I got them off the phone by saying I would call back for more details. Needless to say that's not going to happen.
Looking to hire wedding planner and adding in insane requests and such
Sounded like a very authoratative woman to me. Made all kinds of wild offers. To be a bride's maid, matron of honor, her personal assistant, get a pearl white Mercedes Benz company car, be picked up each day by a limo, $250,000 a year for a 20 hour week, on & on. If it sounds too good to be true and then gets better, let it be. Refused to tell me enough info to verify anything.
Man claiming to be a fashion designer offered me $250,000 a year as personal assistant and wanted me to be a bridesmaid in his wedding. Then asked me to wear nice dress and heels to meet at a high end restaurant in Seattle for an interview. I could not stop laughing during the whole bizarre conversation.
A man who claimed to be a woman called offering me exorbitant sums of money to model, be an executive assistant, help with events.
Claims to be a women asking me to attend an opera with her next weekend and that she’s going to buy me an expensive outfit to wear, and a diamond ring and give me thousands of dollars to accompany her. Lol. Super weird
Looking for wedding planner - man disguising voice as woman. Wants you to model, plan and stand in at wedding to Sharon but doesn't want to give details. When it comes down to payment for deposit hangs up.
Asked if our stylist would wear a ballgown and heels to do hair and makeup. Said they would buy her a ballgown to wear. Also said they want to hire her full time for photos shoots, etc. Said her wedding is March 27 at a Methodist church. When I pressed further about the location she said "it's downtown." Sounded like a man's voice but claimed to be a woman.

Wanted to hire me for wedding, modeling, and other beauty services. Offered to pay for my nails and dress. Wanted me to not only be her personal makeup artist but model too?
She asked lots of questions about what I’d like to do and very little about what I have done. Offered gobs of money and gifts including a house. Texted me some stock photos. Supposed to follow up in the morning. lol
Renee got my number off of my cosmetic website and wanted to hire me for "her" wedding make up and asked me to stay all day as well as future gala's etc.
This is a man who sounds very feminine and claims to be a high fashion model. Offered me 214,000/yr, wants me to mode gowns, meet him at a spa, wear high heels, hose and dresses.

This is a scam telephone call. I believe either this phone number has been stolen from a rightful owner or this is a fraud call.
