That they wanted to go on dinner lunch dates and work 8 hour days...

Totally weird call and I don’t even understand the purpose of spamming people that is in the event industry in different states.

Same as above. Called about wedding/gala makeup. Could he/she hire me. Offered elaborate gifts/pay. I checked in a group of other cosmetics directors/makeup artists and several from IA and NE have been contacted, as well. He tried to get me to set up a meeting time and place. Very strange and creepy.

A guy sounding like a woman called asking if I could do makeup for his/her wedding and galas. They also asked if I would be willing to be a guest at the galas and dress up and model. They then asked if they could hire me 3 times a week for hair and makeup. It was all very very strange. SUPER weird and sketchy. Definitely a scam.

I'm a professional makeup artist from Ohio and this person is called me three times today I finally decided to answer and they asked me if I could do makeup for their wedding as well as galas. They asked me if they could hire me to be a bridesmaid as well as hire me to be a part of these galas. I told him I don't take appointments over the phone and then I would send them my website.
