These people call pretending to represent a sweepstakes company (Mega Fortune Enterprises and Cash Crown Enterprises to name two) and claim to need a percentage of your prize money to guarantee prize delivery through an insurance company by placing a percentage of the prize money in Escrow in a phony LLC shell company. They want payment in the form of a cashiers check or other fungible****et which they can quickly convert by cashing it to their account, then **** - they will vanish. They have been using this phone number for a year or so according to ScamPlus reports - 646-859-8809. The****ociated aliases they use vary, but three we know of so far are William Morrison (who likes to say he is also goes by the name Bill), and Susan Dean, as well as another perpetrator who uses the alias Mike Thompson. This Thompson character calls first and represents himself a "case officer" with the "US government Division of Gaming" (there is no such thing) and reports that his "investigations" turned your name up as WINNER (amounts vary, but seem to center around $3.5 million). Your, by now, trust buddy Mike refers you to the affable Mr. Thompson who will pitch you this preposterous "insurance guarantor" nonsense and ask for the money "right away." My investigation of these twits turned up the above information, and I will cease and desist from further conversations with them. I strongly suggest you do the same.

Claims to be IRS wanting you to call them bc you will not respond to mailings. They are about to file a lawsuit a***nst you!!!!

Total scam phone number. TThey left a Robo call message to call them back and when you do you get someone in India telling you that it is the IRS office . Yeah right .
