If you do, they will harrass you, people you work with, live with, they will curse at you, say very ****** things. Hopefully, you can do what I recommend and they will go quietly away. They don't even live in the USA, they themselves have no social security number let alone threaten yours. Good luck!

More than likely they obtained your info from applying for a payday loan online. They are NOT legit. I have said it before but, put a alert on your credit, which is free for 90days. The checking account you have, if you have had it for a while, they probably have the account info, close it. What I did, that finally made them leave me alone is I already had a block on my phone where I do not accept blocked callers so they were calling from the 646#, I also have the option to block certain numbers. Blocked them, they called a few more times at my work number but, as it came up as all 0's never answered and they couldn't leave me a message. It's been about a week now, haven't heard back from them. DO NOT FALL FOR WHAT THEY WILL TELL YOU!

I got a call yes****ay from A Terry Martin. The man knew my name as well as a friend of mines name. So****ing didn't feel right about the message, and i called a family member of mine to get their input. This sounds like a scam to me. A friend suggested i Google the name and phone # and i came accross this page as well as several others. Who the***** is this guy and where does he get off threatening me with a fraudulant lawsuit? I've done nothing wrong. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS GUY IS AND WHAT HE'S UP TO? I've always believed that if it talks like a duck and acts like a duck..then it's probably a duck. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN TIL YOU GET ALL THE FACTS!

THis number is also connected with 206-424-8457. Called me at work yes****ay, just like all the other comments, could barely understand who I was speaking with. A***n, claimed to be a officer in the legal department, knew the last four digits of my ss#, bank account # (that I no longer have open, thankfully) and my email address and home number. . Called my house, they left a threatening message. It all comes from signing up online for a payday loan, that's how they have all your info and if you would've been ****** enough to get a payday loan, they wouldn't call you but because you didn't, they still now want your money. Close your bank account that you used, put a alert on your credit (it's free for 90 days) and file a complaint with the social security administration right away!!!!!

They are calling you because at some point, you applied for a payday loan online. Giving them your ss#, back account #, email address, home & work number. They will try to harrass you to give them money for a payday loan you never got. They will curse, be extremely ****** to you, co workers, w***ver answers your phone and they will threaten you. Unfortunatly, they are calling from overseas even though the number comes up as a cell phone number in NY. They are also related to people that may call you from 206-424-8457. Not much your local police department can do. I would say immediately, if you have not already, close your bank account because they have access to it now. Put a alert on your credit reports (you can do it for free for the 1st 90 days) and you can file a complaint with the social security administration. Thankfully, long ago when I did apply for a payday loan, I immediately closed my bank account because they s****ed ****arding me with emails, phone calls and felt, it probably wasn't a very smart thing to do. Now they are calling me months later. You won't go to jail, there is nothing they can do but call you over and over and harrass you.

they say there is a legal action a***nst my social and need to clarify some info.

they called stating that i was in big trouble and i was going to jail if i didnt call them back soon

I'm not sure who these people are but they called and left me a message at work stating that they are calling from FDIC and that I have a loan with some cash advance company and needs to pay that back or they are taking me to court. I believe they are linked to this phone number 772-318-4938 (ACS) I called my bank and verified everything with them and I never had anything loan from the company that they stated! what a bunch of ****!!!

They told me that has lawsuit has been filed a***nst my name and that my bank records are under investigation. They said I am supposed to call them back so they can verify information. I am guessing they want me to tell them my info so they can scam me.
