Anonymous Scam. Person called lied about information about where they lived. I was able to verify because they said they lived on a military base 4 hours away from where they said the city is. I lived on the base. The base also c****ed their name which they gave the old name.

Got a voice mail from a RICHARD SMITH (with a heavy accent), spoke to WILLIAM MILLER (similar accent) when I called this number back.  Was told that there were serious legal allegations a***nst my name, totaling $5000, lawsuit would be downloaded in the system tomorrow in my state and that someone would be coming to my place of employment at 9:00am.  I would not confirm any personal info for him and he insisted that he had to confirm that he was talking to the right person before disclosing personal info, but he read his script anyway.  He claimed to be calling from the Legal and General Group, asked him where located, he said NY, which matches this area code, but he had to call me right back because our connection was not a clear connection, the number he called me back from has a CA area code???  He could not tell me the amount of my supposed loan or the date that it was supposedly deposited into my account, said he couldn't fax me anything because the charges hadn't been officially filed yet.  He had no number for Advance America Cash Advance, the payday loan company that he claims deposited money into my account and that I defaulted when my payment by EFT was declined.  I told him that I would find a number for this company and call them to inquire why they were claiming to have deposited funds into my bank account in 2010, he ******* say what exact day and wished me a blessed day and good luck, just as WALKER, SMITH , OR MILLER  wished me on my voice mail.

Claim that you owe money for a past bad debt and ask for payment from automatic draft. They threaten call at work and I have never had a debt with the company

Furious Pamela Jackson called me as well, the number on my caller ID was 0000000000.  On the message she left me she stated that she had legal action that was taken a***nst me and that my SS # and DL # would be blocked unless my attorney contacted her.  When I called back the "supervisor" answered and Pam Jackson was "busy".  He was a male (foreigner) and was VERY rude.  He asked for the phone number that I was calling from and I refused to give it to him.  I asked him what company he was calling from and he wouldn't tell me. He called me a w***e and told me that he could tell by the way I talk that I'm a w***e!  I was in complete shock over this.  I asked if he was calling from overseas and he said he was in Arizona.  I could not believe the way he was talking to me.  I asked him if he really thought this was professional and he said he was a "stud"!  Outrageous!!! I told him that I googled the phone number and saw numerous complaints from other people and that I was contacting the FTC.  At this point he was still calling me names and I finally told him I was recording him and I was contacting the FBI and he ***g up!  These people are definitely scammers!!!

M. Vaughn I've received several messages on my cell phone and work number!  this person with heavy accent  has  even threatened to come to my work and speak with my supervisor!
